Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.46m beam and a 2.93m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 245 GT (Gross Tonnes).

She was delivered to her owners in July 1990.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Fiorente reflects the practical long-range styling common to late-1980s and early-1990s Italian displacement yachts, with a solid steel hull, high bow and layered superstructure that prioritises usable deck space over aggressive styling trends. Designed by Studio Peterlin and built by Ferronavale, the 37m (121.5ft) profile carries a purposeful, slightly explorer-style look while still keeping classic Mediterranean yacht proportions.

From the photos, the bow has a tall, almost commercial-style shape with long flush foredeck sections and high guardrails that reinforce the yacht’s seaworthy character. The hull sides remain relatively clean and simple, broken up by oval portholes and a dark rubbing strake that visually lowers the profile. The superstructure steps upward gradually through the bridge deck and upper deck levels, creating a layered appearance rather than one continuous sweeping line.

The bridge itself sits well forward with sharply angled glazing and deep overhangs for shade, while the mast structure and upper deck equipment remain compact and functional rather than oversized. Wide side decks run almost the full yacht length, helped by the relatively narrow superstructure arrangement. This gives easier movement between the foredeck, aft deck and upper lounging areas.

Outdoor living focuses on traditional deck arrangements rather than highly sculpted resort-style spaces. The aft main deck provides a sheltered dining and social area with direct access to the saloon, while the upper deck expands into an open-air lounge and dining space suited to relaxed cruising. The top deck remains relatively uncluttered, giving clear views outward and additional space for sun loungers or loose furniture.

The 2016-2018 refit modernised much of the yacht technically while keeping the original profile intact. During this work Fiorente received new engines, generators, shafts, propellers, upgraded electronics and at-anchor stabilisers, along with a completed 25-year Lloyd’s commercial survey.
