Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.35m beam and a 2.7m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 810 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in June 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2020.
Exterior Design
Florentia's exterior design is characterized by its elegant and sinuous lines. The yacht features a full-displacement hull configuration made of steel and a superstructure composed of aluminium. The hull and superstructure are both painted white, complemented by a red boot top color. The bow is raked, contributing to the vessel's streamlined appearance.
The main deck, upper deck, fly deck, and lower deck are all accessible via a central staircase, which serves as the focal point for distribution throughout the vessel. Each deck has designated areas that cater to various activities, from entertainment to relaxation.
The main deck welcomes guests on board and provides access to the salon and dining room. The fly deck includes a VIP stateroom with a private balcony and access to an outdoor jacuzzi.
Interior Design
Florentia’s interior was created by Carlo Colombo and A++ Design Studio, with the spaces shaped around soft architectural forms, warm materials and a residential atmosphere intended to feel calm rather than heavily formal.
The central staircase acts as the organising feature of the interior layout and forms the visual core of the yacht. A sculptural spiral-style railing rises through the decks, surrounded by warm-toned leather finishes, pale woods, gold accents and curved detailing that continues throughout the guest spaces.
Across the main deck, the salon and dining room are arranged as two connected spaces separated by a bespoke structural cabinet rather than full partitions. The living area sits aft with large structural sofas extending inward toward the centre of the room, while the dining space occupies the forward section beneath the broad window lines.
The design language throughout the yacht leans heavily on flowing shapes inspired by waves and natural forms. Curved transitions appear within ceilings, flooring details and furniture geometry, so the spaces feel visually connected rather than compartmentalised.
On the upper deck, a multifunctional lounge was designed as a flexible entertainment room that can convert into a cinema through a concealed ceiling-mounted projector system. The arrangement includes a double-sided sofa upholstered in natural fabric facing toward a bar area, creating separate conversation and viewing zones within the same room.
Accommodation
Florentia accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms, with accommodation for 11 crew members in six cabins.
The owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck and includes a private balcony, two walk-in wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. The room follows the yacht’s curved design language through a leather-upholstered saddle-stitched headboard, flowing ceiling and floor detailing, and a circular mirrored artwork positioned above the bed to reflect natural light across the cabin.
A separate VIP suite occupies part of the fly deck and functions almost as a self-contained apartment within the yacht. The suite includes a private lounge, bedroom, bathroom, forward balcony and direct access to the outdoor jacuzzi aft.
The lower deck contains two symmetrical king guest cabins alongside two additional double guest cabins. Ceiling heights throughout the guest accommodation remain generous for a yacht of this size, with the main deck owner’s suite and salon reaching 2.35m (7.7ft).
Crew accommodation includes five twin crew cabins, a crew mess, laundry and galley facilities arranged on the lower deck, while the captain’s cabin is positioned near the bridge.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512E DITA) 2,583hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Florentia is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 100,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
