Miouch is a 39.11m expedition yacht due to be delivered by Turkish shipyard Numarine in 2025. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Can Yalman, while Umberto Tagliavini is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.04m beam and a 2.51m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the 40MXP design. Launched in July 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The Numarine 40MXP/01 is marked by its raked bow, which contributes to the yacht's efficient movement through water. This design choice not only aids in reducing resistance but also in improving the vessel's overall hydrodynamic efficiency. The yacht's deck is finished with teak providing a durable surface for outdoor activities.
In terms of color, the yacht maintains a classic and sleek appearance with a white hull and superstructure, complemented by a contrasting black boot top. Below the waterline is also finished in white, maintaining the yacht’s consistent aesthetic while providing protection against marine growth.
The yacht presents an enlarged aft deck, which has been achieved by shifting the saloon's aft sliding doors forward by three meters. Central to the aft deck's layout is a spacious dining area, complemented by a bar and a lounge. These amenities converge around an aft pool with a glass transom.
The integration of a vast hydraulic swim platform, spanning the yacht's 8-meter beam, further enriches this outdoor living space. To mitigate the intensity of direct sunlight, an awning can be deployed, while extended upper deck overhangs offer more permanent shading solutions, catering to various climatic conditions.
The yacht’s utility is further underscored by its capacity to accommodate a 9-meter tender and three full-size jet skis on its large boat deck, alongside additional space for water sports equipment.
Accommodation
The Numarine 40MXP/01 provides accommodation for up to 12 guests across six suites, this includes a full-beam master suite located on the main deck and a full-beam VIP suite on the lower deck.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (D2868 LE425) 800hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Miouch is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 51,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 8 knots.
