Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 16m beam and a 5.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 2,950 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Ocean Falcon absolutely has the proportions of a commercial offshore vessel rather than a conventional superyacht. Her steel hull carries a high freeboard and near-vertical bow.
The working deck aft is large and open, originally laid out for rescue and support duties. Heavy-duty rails, clear deck space and integrated lifting points reflect that background. Midships, the superstructure rises in a compact block, topped by a high wheelhouse with wraparound glazing for clear forward visibility. Above it, a substantial mast carries radar domes, antennas and communications arrays suited to offshore operations.
Her profile is straightforward. Long sheer lines run from bow to stern without decorative shaping. Hull openings are practical and evenly spaced. The structure was built to Det Norske Veritas classification, with a Polar C-rated hull referenced in later conversion plans.
As a conversion platform, these characteristics work in her favour. The beam, internal volume and structural strength allow for large openings, extended superstructure modifications and additional deck features without compromising integrity. The renderings produced under the Project UFO concept retained much of this underlying structure while introducing full-height glazing, a helicopter deck, a pool and expanded leisure zones.
Even without final conversion details confirmed, the base architecture remains clear: Ocean Falcon is a commercial-grade, long-range platform with the scale and strength to support expedition use or large-format yacht reconfiguration.
Accommodation
Ocean Falcon offers accommodation for up to 18 guests in 9 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 29 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (B&W 9L21/31) engines, motor yacht Ocean Falcon is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 590,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 8,000 nautical miles.
