As a powerful tournament fishing machine, the Hatteras 54 Convertible is relentless, with standard D.D. 12V-71TA engines at 870 SHP, or higher performance D.D. 12V-92TA's at 1040 SHP each. As well as the kind of fishing features that make Hatteras such a winner year in and year out.

And, when you're enjoying the cruising lifestyle, it's relentless in its luxury and comfort. With three staterooms and two heads, this 54-foot fish-fighter was designed to be an overachiever. The all-new fiberglass hull, designed by the team at Hatteras, continues the winning tradition of the tournament-tested Hatteras modified-V. Equally adept at getting you up and going, and keeping you there steady and sure.

The sleek, new exterior lines are appropriately intimidating, with a rakish sheer and contemporary styling that accentuates a fore-to-aft slope. What's aboard is going to intimidate the competition as well.

The flybridge is sweepingly aerodynamic. The new, acrylic wraparound windshield is shaped to deflect the wind; the helm is well-positioned for maximum visibility and maneuverability when backing down; and the spacious new seating, contoured for comfort, accommodates rod storage beneath.

The 157-square foot cockpit is ready for rush hour. You'll find an attractive molded in bait and tackle center, incorporating such Hatteras features as a wet sink with cutting board and generous drawer and locker space below.

Throughout, the contemporary styling includes recessed lighting, lambrequins, mini-blind window treatments and marble textured countertops. The standard entertainment center includes a 20" color TV, and AM/FM stereo cassette player, all controlled by a single remote control unit.

The owner's head is, as they say, "en suite." A full-size separate shower with sliding door, mirrored medicine cabinet, and molded-in, marble-like vanity countertop and sink await you with the luxury maximum privacy and comfort.
