The flagship yacht forms part of the Bluegame BGX83 series and features exterior design by Zuccon International Project, interiors by Studio Lissoni and naval architecture by Louis T. Codega. The 80GT motor yacht has a GRP planing hull and embodies Bluegame's crossover philosophy, offering generous onboard volume, contemporary living spaces and a stronger connection with the sea.
Sea trials mark the latest milestone for Bluegame's flagship
Following her launch in February and world debut at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, the first BGX83 has now entered sea trials as Bluegame assesses the yacht's propulsion systems, onboard technology and overall performance ahead of delivery. As the largest model in the BGX range to date, the flagship builds on the crossover principles established by its predecessors while introducing greater internal volume, enhanced functionality and a layout designed around owner-focused cruising. Outdoor spaces strengthen the connection with the water
The motor yacht has been conceived to place owners and guests closer to the sea through a series of interconnected exterior living spaces. At the stern, a hydraulic swim platform and folding side terrace expand the beach area into a generous waterside retreat, while the aft saloon sits at water level to create a direct relationship between the interior and the surrounding environment. Above, the flybridge helm position provides elevated visibility underway while freeing additional space within the main deck, creating a more open and social layout throughout the yacht.
Contemporary interiors prioritise comfort and flexibility
The yacht features an interior that balances clean architectural lines with a warm, contemporary atmosphere. Accommodation is arranged for up to eight guests across four cabins, including a spacious owner's suite, with the layout designed to maximise privacy while maintaining close visual and physical links to the exterior spaces. Large windows draw natural light throughout the yacht, reinforcing the sense of openness and supporting Bluegame's vision of seamless indoor-outdoor living. Enhanced crew accommodation also allows for a high standard of service during extended cruises.
Triple IPS propulsion delivers performance and control
The crossover yacht is powered by three 900hp Volvo Penta D13 IPS 30 1200 engines, delivering a cruising speed of 28 knots and a top speed of 30 knots. Designed by naval architect Louis T. Codega, the planing hull has been developed to provide stability, responsive handling and confident performance across a range of sea conditions, while Volvo IPS propulsion enhances manoeuvrability and docking precision. Together, the engineering package reflects Bluegame's focus on delivering superyacht-inspired comfort within a highly capable 26-metre platform.
Bluegame continues to expand its BGX range
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, there are currently four Bluegame BGX yachts in the order book. The Italian builder continues to strengthen the range, with the BGX73 introducing the distinctive aft-living concept that helped establish the range, while the BGX63 laid the foundations for Bluegame's owner-focused approach to onboard space, flexibility and connection with the sea. Both models have been reviewed by YachtBuyer, offering a closer look at their design, layout and onboard experience.
