Built by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo, Tolemai is the second hull in the Sanlorenzo 44X-Space series. Delivered in 2023, the 44 metre motor yacht features exterior design by Zuccon International Project, interiors by Studio Lissoni and naval architecture developed in-house by the builder.
Inside, the superyacht features a contemporary design, with clean architectural lines, a restrained material palette and extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing throughout the guest areas. Designed around the 44X-Space concept, the interior prioritises natural light and open sightlines, creating a bright, residential atmosphere across her 498GT volume. Large windows wrap around the superstructure, enhancing the connection to the sea while illuminating the yacht’s main social spaces. The arrangement focuses on comfort and functionality, offering generous entertaining areas while maintaining privacy between guest, owner and crew zones.
The yacht's exterior draws on the volume and functionality of an explorer yacht while retaining the refined styling of a contemporary navetta. Her profile is characterised by extensive glazing, five distinct deck levels and a broad stern arrangement that maximises usable outdoor space. One of the defining features of the 44X-Space platform is the relocation of the wheelhouse to the bridge deck, allowing the entire upper deck to be dedicated to the owner. Aft, a sea-facing infinity pool forms the centrepiece of the social areas, complemented by fold-down terraces that expand the deck footprint and connect seamlessly with the beach club below. Together, these elements create a resort-style environment designed around outdoor living and direct access to the water.
Accommodation onboard the motor yacht is arranged for up to 12 guests across six staterooms, including a spacious owner's suite positioned forward on the main deck. The remaining guest cabins offer flexible configurations suited to a variety of cruising arrangements, while the yacht's multi-deck layout allows for a high degree of privacy between owner and guest areas. Crew quarters accommodate up to nine staff across five cabins, supporting efficient service throughout extended voyages and reinforcing the model's emphasis on long-range comfort and practicality.
Constructed with a steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure, Tolemai is powered by twin diesel MAN engines. She reaches a top speed of 16 knots and cruises comfortably at 12.5 knots, offering substantial internal volume alongside efficient long-range cruising capability.
Tolemai has been sold at a last known asking price of €30,950,000.
