Developed by Atelier Invictus in collaboration with designer Fabio Rotella, the 17-metre yacht introduces a new approach to materials, light and customisation while retaining the defining characteristics of the ST550.
Quiet luxury gives the ST550 a new identity
The new yacht builds on a design research path launched with the TT460 Shell Edition, with the latest project developed by Atelier Invictus and Fabio Rotella around what Rotella describes as “quiet luxury”.Rather than adding visual complexity, the concept places greater emphasis on proportion, authentic materials, natural colours and the relationship between the yacht and its surroundings. The project also preserves established elements of the Invictus design language, including the model's signature semi-reverse bow.
Natural materials and light shape the interior
Natural wood species, tactile surfaces and exclusive fabrics developed specifically for the Deep Horizon feature throughout the interior, while the lighting design has been developed to emphasise textures, expand the perception of space and create softer atmospheres across the lower deck. Material choices extend into the bathrooms, where Silk Georgette is used in the guest bathroom and Portoro Gold in the master bathroom, complemented by customised fittings with anthracite finishes. Dedicated fabrics and leathers also incorporate details including Invictus' signature buckles on the backrests and discreet branding.
Generous spaces strengthen the connection with the sea
Measuring 17 metres in length with a 5.04-metre beam, the ST550 Deep Horizon takes the "S" in its name from the concept of "Space". Its layout is characterised by generous volumes and close connections between the indoor and outdoor areas, supporting the wider Deep Horizon concept of placing the sea at the centre of the onboard experience. The exterior spaces continue the interior design language through high-performance technical fabrics developed exclusively for the project and featuring original patterns created to link the two environments.
Cool grey and pearlescent white distinguish the exterior
Atelier Invictus has also developed a dedicated colour treatment for the Deep Horizon, pairing a cool grey hull with a contrasting pearlescent white deck. The colour scheme forms part of a wider programme of bespoke materials, finishes and components developed by the shipyard's design laboratory, which brings together specialists in aesthetic customisation and technical solutions, including professionals with backgrounds in fashion and industrial design.
Cannes debut followed by Genoa appearance
The ST550 Deep Horizon will make its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 from 8 to 13 September. The motor yacht will be joined by four further models from the range: the Invictus TT550, TT460, TT420 and GT320. Following Cannes, the Deep Horizon will also be exhibited at the Genoa International Boat Show 2026 from 1 to 6 October.
