New MAX39 Comfort Boat Adds Compact Option to Maxim Yachts Line-Up

Maxim Yachts has quietly introduced a new 39-foot model, the MAX39 Comfort, and is positioned as a comfort-led alternative within Maxim’s compact performance range.

With limited technical detail available so far, the MAX39 Comfort sits alongside three established models currently in build - the MAX43 Comfort, MAX43 Race, and MAX44 R - forming a four-model portfolio focused on premium dayboats with distinct performance and usability profiles. The new model is already reported to be in production.

The MAX39 Comfort: A new 12m platform in production

The MAX39 Comfort is a new 39-foot (12-meter) model from Maxim Yachts that has already entered production. Positioned as a comfort-focused option within the brand’s dayboat portfolio, it is intended to provide greater onboard comfort while retaining the brand’s established performance-led approach.

Power is confirmed as twin 340 hp Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines. Beyond this, Maxim Yachts has not yet released speed, range, or fuel capacity figures, and no interior layout details have been made public.

Based on visuals currently available, the MAX39 Comfort presents a compact, low-profile form with sharp, linear geometry and a clean sheer line. The deck appears largely uninterrupted, with a flush layout and clearly defined helm position set behind a dark-tinted windscreen. A foldable, lightweight hardtop structure is supported by slender framing, covering the central seating area without dominating the profile.

Where the MAX39 Comfort sits within the Maxim Yachts lineup

The MAX39 Comfort joins a focused motor yacht production lineup that currently spans three larger models, each defined by a clear balance between dayboat usability, overnight capability, and performance intent. Within this structure, the MAX39 Comfort becomes the most compact option, positioned below the MAX43 and MAX44 platforms while following the same overall approach to layout and customization.

The MAX43 Comfort is the most accommodation-focused model currently in production. Measuring slightly over 13m, it features a single-cabin layout with sleeping for up to four guests, positioning it for longer days on the water with the option to remain aboard overnight. Deck space is a key priority, with particular attention given to the aft deck and bow areas.

At the bow of the yacht, owners can enjoy the forward-facing settee or a U-shaped seating arrangement, paired with a dedicated sunpad. Folding side terraces extend usable deck width when at anchor. The model is built in composite and offered as a custom build within the platform.

The MAX43 Race shares much of the same footprint at 12.73 meters but shifts emphasis toward handling and speed. Accommodation remains unchanged, with one cabin and capacity for four guests. A carbon fiber hardtop is a defining feature, intended to reduce wind resistance while retaining sun protection. Bow seating options mirror those of the Comfort version, with flexible seating arrangements and a large sunbathing area.

At the top of the lineup sits the MAX44 R, measuring 13.41 meters. It continues the performance-led theme with a slightly larger platform and a focus on aerodynamics. Accommodation remains consistent with the MAX43 models, and composite construction is again confirmed. Design continuity across the range is evident, with all models sharing a restrained, low-profile aesthetic.

Within this structure, the MAX39 Comfort acts as the entry point, offering a smaller platform that aligns with the comfort-oriented direction of the range while maintaining consistency with Maxim Yachts’ established production approach.
