Developed with Zuccon International Project, the SL86A reimagines the 27m Sanlorenzo yacht through the lens of openness and connection to the sea.
Asymmetry in Motion
Part of the Sanlorenzo SL range, the SL86A applies Sanlorenzo’s Asymmetric philosophy to a more compact platform, shifting the port-side deck up one level to expand interior volume and enhance visibility. This structural change creates an open, light-filled main deck that visually connects the saloon to the sea.

The yacht’s exterior lines retain Sanlorenzo’s hallmark elegance while integrating practical refinements. At the stern, concealed stairways and a redesigned garage provide storage for a Williams Jet Tender and jetski without disturbing the yacht’s clean aesthetic.

Across all decks of the motor yacht, optimized vertical circulation ensures easy movement and a natural sense of flow between exterior and interior spaces.
Inside the SL86A: Refined Interiors
Inside, the SL86A channels Sanlorenzo’s refined minimalism through natural materials and balanced proportions. Warm wood tones, stone accents, and soft fabrics create a serene atmosphere, with each surface chosen to highlight texture over ornamentation.

The main saloon on board the superyacht forms the social heart of the yacht, defined by panoramic windows that extend from floor to ceiling. This space feels open yet intimate, with a relaxed lounge arrangement flowing into a formal dining area. The asymmetrical layout enhances visibility to the water on one side.

The four-cabin configuration accommodates up to eight guests, pairing generous guest suites with a full-beam owner’s cabin that benefits from wide ocean views.

Throughout, the design prioritizes calm continuity and natural light, underscoring Sanlorenzo’s commitment to understated elegance and livable sophistication.
Engineering Behind the SL86A
Constructed entirely from GRP, the SL86A features a planing hull capable of reaching a top speed of 29 knots. The yacht’s range extends to approximately 900 nautical miles, positioning it as a versatile choice for coastal or island cruising. A dedicated crew of four can be accommodated in well-planned quarters, supporting extended time aboard.

Built to Sanlorenzo’s exacting standards, the SL86A demonstrates the yard’s continued investment in yachts that balance advanced naval architecture with the aesthetic rigor that defines its brand. The model’s nomination in the 2025 Yacht Style Awards underlines its impact within the 24-27-meter category.
Since the launch of the first Asymmetric model, Sanlorenzo has pursued this concept as a defining design language across its range. By offsetting the side decks and rethinking circulation patterns, the yard has found new ways to enhance onboard livability without increasing overall size.
A Trio of U.S. Debuts for Sanlorenzo
According to YachtBuyer Market Watch & Intelligence, the world's largest yacht database, Sanlorenzo will present two further U.S. debuts at FLIBS 2025: the SX100 and SP92.
The 30m Sanlorenzo SX100, designed by Zuccon International Project with interiors by Marty Lowe for the American market, emphasizes fluidity and freedom of movement. Its open stern and fold-out terraces create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, while a main-deck owner’s suite provides a private, residential touch. The design favors natural light, soft materials, and a calm palette to elevate onboard comfort.

The Sanlorenzo SP92, measuring 28 meters, channels sportiness through an elegant, minimalist form. Equipped with 4,400 horsepower and waterjet propulsion, it delivers impressive speed while maintaining Sanlorenzo’s trademark refinement. A copper blade along the superstructure accentuates its sleek profile, while a 45-square-meter beach area and multi-level interior reinforce its versatility. As part of the yard’s Smart Performance philosophy, the SP92 integrates lightweight materials and advanced technology to cut fuel consumption by up to 13 percent without sacrificing craftsmanship.

Together, the SL86A, SX100, and SP92 underscore Sanlorenzo’s ability to adapt Italian design excellence for the U.S. market - each yacht distinct in character yet united by a shared vision of modern, connected living on the water.
