WATCH: Inside the First Columbus Atlantique 38M Superyacht Principessa Capricciosa

The main saloon of the yacht is centered around a relaxed lounge arrangement featuring Minotti sofas upholstered in white fabric, accompanied by dark grey armchairs and a marble-topped coffee table with an aluminum frame. Large windows draw natural light deep into the space, while cream and grey-beige lacquered wood paneling is paired with light marble inserts and European oak flooring to introduce warmth throughout the room.

Rather than relying on decorative excess, the designers have focused on carefully layered materials. Wall cladding arranged in a staggered pattern adds subtle depth, while a Yokohama rug by Loloey softens the seating area. Elsewhere on the main and upper decks, bespoke lighting developed by Cantalupi emphasizes architectural forms through concealed illumination and carefully positioned feature lighting.

One of the superyacht's more unusual features is an audio system that was incorporated from the earliest stages of the design process. Bowers & Wilkins ceiling speakers throughout the interior are managed through a Sonos ecosystem, while the main saloon features a dedicated high-fidelity setup pairing Sonus faber loudspeakers with McIntosh electronics, creating a listening room rarely found aboard a yacht of this size.

A Private Retreat at the Bow

The king-size bed sits beneath a bespoke limestone headboard with three-dimensional detailing, while the ensuite bathroom is divided into two separate spaces connected by a centrally positioned marble shower. Perhaps the suite's standout feature is its private sea terrace, furnished with custom Roda armchairs and a coffee table, extending the owner's living space directly over the water.

The lower deck houses four additional guest cabins, comprising two doubles and two convertible twins, each also fitted with an additional Pullman berth. Every cabin has been finished with its own individual color palette, bespoke detailing and marble bathrooms, while decorative lighting from FontanaArte and Bomma provides continuity throughout the guest accommodation. Crew accommodation for six, plus the captain, is arranged across four cabins on the lower deck.

Terraces, Balconies and Open-Air Living

Above, the upper deck dining area seats up to ten guests around a Ceccotti Collezioni table finished with a Calacatta marble top. Large fold-away side glazing transforms this enclosed space into an open-air terrace, strengthening the connection between the interior and surrounding sea. Further aft, Paola Lenti modular seating creates another flexible lounge area, while a concealed 75-inch television rises electronically from the hardtop when required.

Forward on the upper deck, guests will find a swimming pool accompanied by integrated sunpads and generous seating. An internally connected sundeck adds another relaxation area together with a secondary helm station, allowing the motor yacht to be operated from above with uninterrupted visibility.

Throughout the exterior, the Atlantique 38 continues the styling language established across the series. The profile draws inspiration from classic sailing yachts while introducing contemporary detailing, including the recessed stern platform positioned just 50 centimeters above sea level. Both hull and superstructure have been constructed entirely in aluminum.

A dedicated garage stores a five-meter tender alongside a personal watercraft, while an additional compartment beneath the beach club staircase houses Seabobs.

Semi-Planing Performance Beneath 300GT

Remaining below the 300GT threshold has been a central part of the yacht's development, allowing owners to benefit from reduced operational requirements while still offering the interior volume and guest accommodation more commonly associated with larger yachts.
