The 50 Open is built in Australia by Palm Beach with a multi-award winning in-house design team. She is the open boat version in the GT50 series, and a coupe boat, the 50 Express, is also produced. The 16.8m/55'1" classic style boat constructed in GRP can sleep up to four guests across two cabins. Available with only one option for inboard engines.
First announced to the press in 2018 she went into development in 2019. She was unveiled to the general public at the 2019 Miami International Boat Show (DBMIBS) where she made her World Debut and made her European Debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2019. She won 'Sportscruisers (over 40ft)' at the 2020 Motor Boat Awards.
Performance
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 35 knots via her twin 625hp Volvo Penta D11-IPS800 engines. In terms of range, the Palm Beach 50 Open has a standard range of 862 nautical miles (nm).
