The W39 was built by Windy Boats with a multi-award winning international design team, exterior styling by Dubois from the UK and interior design by the UK's Design Unlimited. The 12.27m/40'3" sportsboat built from GRP can sleep up to five guests in two cabins. She was available with a range of inboard engine options.
Development started in 2014. She was unveiled to the general public at the 2014 Boot Düsseldorf where she made her World Debut. She won 'Sportscruisers (up to 45ft)' at the 2015 Motor Boat Awards.
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 40 knots via her twin 480hp Volvo Penta D6-480 engines. In terms of range, the Windy Boats W39 has a standard range of 353 nautical miles (nm).
