Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement ice class steel hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 13.3m beam and a 3.8m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 2,149 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in late 2012. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in September 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2016.

Exterior Design

Moonstone measures 79.2 meters (259.8 ft) in length and displays a strong, streamlined profile penned by Espen Øino. Her hull is finished in a deep navy gloss, contrasting crisply with the white superstructure and creating a striking silhouette across her tiered decks.

Outdoor spaces are generous and thoughtfully arranged. A large pool sits aft, while the upper decks feature expansive seating areas ideal for entertaining or relaxing at anchor. The beach club includes a wellness area, giving direct access to the water with additional space for exercise or spa treatments.

A side-launching tender garage is integrated into the hull, equipped with an overhead crane for efficient launch and retrieval. Up on the sundeck, a robust davit allows for the storage of larger toys or a secondary tender. A certified helipad further enhances her capabilities for remote cruising and seamless guest arrival.

Built on a displacement Ice Class steel hull with a GRP superstructure, Moonstone spans four decks and carries an internal volume of 2,149 GT.

Interior Design

The interior has been completely redesigned by Harrison Eidsgaard, focusing on openness, functionality, and a calm, refined aesthetic. The flow between spaces has been carefully considered, with generous social zones balanced by more intimate retreats across all decks.

A standout feature is the Winter Garden - a versatile indoor-outdoor lounge that bridges the main saloon and aft deck. This space allows guests to enjoy fresh air and expansive views while remaining sheltered and comfortable throughout the year.

Vertical circulation is smooth and effortless, with an elevator connecting all levels. Throughout the interior, the layout and atmosphere cater to both extended cruising and easy day-to-day living. Air conditioning is installed throughout to ensure comfort in all climates.

Accommodation

Moonstone accommodates up to 12 guests across six well-appointed suites. These include a full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP cabin, and four twin guest cabins. The layout provides privacy where needed, along with open shared areas designed for social interaction and comfort.

Accommodation is also available for two members of the owner’s staff or security team, with separate quarters and access. Crew spaces are laid out to support up to 19 crew members, ensuring smooth onboard operations and high service standards during long voyages.
