Delivered by Damen Yachting in 2025, After You is the first yacht in Damen Yachting's Xplorer 60 series. Featuring exterior design by Azure Yacht Design, interiors by H2 Yacht Design and naval architecture developed in-house, the 1,160GT explorer yacht has been built with an Ice Class steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Designed for extended global cruising, she incorporates hybrid propulsion, a fully certified helideck and accommodation for up to 12 guests.
Industry recognition for a new generation of explorer yachts
The Robb Report Best of the Best Awards 2026 celebrates excellence across luxury sectors including yachting, aviation and automotive. By receiving the Best Explorer Yacht title, After You has been recognised for bringing together true expedition capability with the comfort and amenities expected aboard a contemporary superyacht. The award also reflects the philosophy behind Damen Yachting's Xplorer range, which has been developed for owners seeking to cruise beyond conventional destinations without compromising luxury.
Designed to explore from tropical waters to polar regions
The explorer yacht has been conceived for long-range cruising across a wide variety of environments, from remote island chains to higher latitudes. Her Ice Class steel hull and IMO Polar Code-compliant engineering support operation in more demanding conditions, while a fully certified helideck extends operational flexibility during extended expeditions. The purposeful exterior also incorporates generous deck spaces for tenders and equipment, with the helideck doubling as an additional leisure area when not in use.
Contemporary interiors prioritise comfort throughout extended voyages
The yacht features a warm, contemporary interior intended to make extended periods aboard as comfortable as possible. Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests across six suites, including a full-beam owner's suite, while an observation lounge with 270-degree views provides a dedicated space to enjoy the surrounding landscape. Throughout the yacht, carefully considered layouts and refined materials balance expedition practicality with the level of comfort expected aboard a modern luxury explorer yacht.
Hybrid propulsion supports long-range capability
Built around a displacement steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, the superyacht is powered by twin MTU diesel engines supported by a hybrid propulsion system with battery banks. The hybrid arrangement allows the yacht to cruise using diesel-electric power or operate in battery-electric mode when quieter, lower-emission operation is preferred. With a top speed of 14.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles at 11.5 knots, the Xplorer 60 has been engineered for extended cruising while providing the flexibility required for global exploration.
Damen Yachting continues to expand its explorer yacht portfolio
