More Details

The 24.8m motor yacht Axebt was delivered to her owners in 1997 by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Sanlorenzo's team has created the interior and exterior design of the superyacht, alongside her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Classic Sanlorenzo styling
  • Formal dining saloon
  • Integrated flybridge
  • Hydraulic swim platform

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.18m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 68 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

At 24.8m (81.4ft), Axebt reflects the understated design language that helped establish Sanlorenzo's reputation during the 1990s. Unlike many yachts of the period that relied on aggressive styling details or oversized superstructures, the SL82 focuses on proportion. The profile is long, low and balanced, with a fine bow entry, a gently sweeping sheerline and an integrated flybridge that sits naturally within the overall silhouette.

One of the defining features is the horizontal glazing. The long bands of dark glass run through the superstructure and wrap around the lower helm position, creating a visual line that still looks contemporary nearly three decades after launch. Many modern Sanlorenzo yachts continue to use this approach, albeit on a larger scale.

The aft deck follows a classic Mediterranean flybridge yacht arrangement, with a sheltered dining area that connects directly to the saloon. Wide side decks lead forward to a recessed bow lounge where large sunpads sit behind the anchor gear. A removable awning adds shade without permanently altering the clean profile.

The flybridge is another area where the yacht's age works in its favour. Rather than being enclosed within towering structures, it remains open and uncluttered, providing space for dining, lounging and sunbathing while retaining clear sightlines over the water. Recent upgrades have refreshed the area while preserving the original character of the design.

Interior Design

The interior follows the same philosophy as the exterior. Dark timber joinery, white carpets and light soft furnishings create a look that feels rooted in classic yacht design rather than fashion-led styling.

The main saloon is arranged as a formal entertaining space, with seating aft and a dining area forward separated by a glass partition. This was a popular arrangement among high-end European yachts of the period, creating clear distinctions between dining and lounging without fully dividing the room.

Large windows provide good natural light for a yacht launched in 1997, and the relatively simple interior architecture has allowed the yacht to absorb updates over the years without losing its identity. The result is a space that feels modernised rather than remodelled.

Accommodation

Axebt accommodates up to seven guests in four staterooms.

The arrangement reflects a period when private ownership drove layout decisions more than charter optimisation. Rather than maximising guest numbers, the focus is on providing comfortable cabins for family and friends.

The owner's cabin forms the centrepiece of the accommodation, while the remaining guest cabins provide flexibility for mixed groups and longer stays aboard. The four-cabin layout remains highly desirable today because it offers a balance between guest capacity and cabin size without forcing compromises elsewhere in the yacht.

She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel (3412 - 12V TA) 1,350hp engines, motor yacht Axebt is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
