  • 4,000 nautical mile range
  • 40m (131ft) Westport motor yacht

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.92m beam and a 2.01m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 298 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the eighth yacht built on the Westport 130 design.

Exterior Design

Elysian follows the familiar Westport 130 platform with a full-bodied profile, long sheerline, and a high bow that carries volume forward. The glazing sits in clean horizontal bands across the main and upper decks, while the flybridge is capped by a custom hardtop with a fitted glass windshield, giving the upper helm proper protection without adding bulk.

The aft deck is arranged as a primary social space, with a built-in settee and teak dining table set under cover. A spiral staircase links this area to the boat deck above, where a second dining and lounge setup sits around a custom teak table. The upper aft deck, just outside the skylounge, adds another seating zone with Sunbrella-cushioned settees and a further dining position, so the layout spreads guest use across multiple levels rather than concentrating it in one spot.

Up on the flybridge, a granite-topped wet bar forms the centre of the space, with open seating around it and clear views forward through the glass windscreen. The deck also carries sunpads and loose seating, while the davit has been rebuilt to handle tenders and equipment more securely on the boat deck aft.

At the stern, the swim platform gives direct access to the water, and the tender garage is built into the transom to keep equipment out of sight when not in use. Side decks run wide and clear along the superstructure, leading forward to a working foredeck with anchoring gear integrated into the layout.

Interior Design

The interior was reworked in a 2016 refit, with Architectural Interiors updating finishes, soft furnishings, and overhead treatments. The main salon uses custom Fabrica carpeting and a mix of Century Furniture sofas and occasional chairs, arranged around low tables with Ralph Lauren detailing. Large windows on both sides bring in steady natural light, while a built-in entertainment system and cabinetry sit within a cherry wood framework.

Forward, the dining area seats 10 beneath a vaulted ceiling with a custom light feature. The layout keeps the transition between lounge and dining open, so the space reads as one continuous room rather than separate compartments.

The skylounge acts as a second living area, fitted with a large sectional sofa and a granite-topped bar with refrigeration and an ice maker. A day head sits nearby, which makes this deck work as a self-contained guest area. The same glazing approach continues here, so the room keeps wide views out to both sides.

Up front, the wheelhouse uses a custom wood inlaid helm with leather-covered dash panels. The layout is practical, with direct side deck access and clear visibility from the main navigation seats.

Accommodation

Elysian accommodates up to 10 guests across five staterooms, with a crew of seven.

The owner’s suite sits on the main deck and uses the full beam, with a central bed, desk, and storage built into the joinery. Large windows bring in light from both sides, while the en suite includes a shower, vanity, and private toilet.

On the lower deck, the layout follows the standard Westport arrangement. Two VIP cabins sit aft, each with double beds and en suite bathrooms, while two twin cabins are positioned further forward. These twin cabins use convertible berths and include Pullman options, so the layout can flex depending on the guest mix. All guest cabins have their own bathrooms with marble finishes and Grohe fittings.

Crew accommodation is split between forward quarters and additional cabins aft. The captain’s cabin sits forward with a private head, while the engineer’s cabin is positioned aft of the engine room. Two further crew cabins with over-under bunks complete the layout, each with their own facilities, so crew can operate without crossing into guest areas.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,735hp engines, motor yacht Elysian is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 37,476 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,973 nautical miles. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
