Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 27'11" beam and a 7'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 375 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Fast 140' design. Launched in July 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in August 2014.

Exterior Design

Emina is a 42m (137.8ft) yacht from Benetti’s Veloce 140 fast displacement series - a striking build defined by sharp, contemporary lines and abundant alfresco living spaces. Her exterior profile is purposeful yet stylish, reflecting Benetti’s take on the fast-displacement hull concept with added flair.

At the bow, the foredeck defies convention with a fully equipped gathering space that includes a plunge pool, sunbeds, and the third of three outdoor dining areas. Cleverly shaded, it balances comfort and function in a space that often feels like an afterthought on other yachts of this size.

Aft on the main deck, there's an outdoor dining area for 12, sheltered beneath a hardtop - the first of several options for entertaining under open skies. One level up, the bridge deck aft provides elevated views and a second dining table, complemented by a U-shaped lounge and a diving board to starboard. A few steps away, a plunge from the sundeck delivers you nearly straight into the sea - or at least close enough to paddle over to the beach club.

Higher still, the sundeck spans 77 square metres (828 square feet) and is styled as a ‘terrace in the sky’, anchored by a Jacuzzi at the stern and sunpads flanking either side. This area is equipped for entertaining, with a lounge to starboard, a bar to port with four stools, and four more forward-facing stools for the best sea views. Two TVs mounted here continue the theme found across other decks, perfect for relaxed outdoor viewing.

At the stern, the beach club delivers a fully dedicated waterside retreat. It features a teak-finished lounging area with a bar and TV, providing direct access to the sea. When closed, a teak swim platform extends the lounging area further, creating a welcoming edge to the waterline. Unlike many setups, this beach club doesn’t double as a tender garage - that’s handled separately, with a dedicated space on the port side housing a Williams 445 jet tender, two Sea-Doo jet skis, and a dive compressor.

A sliding soft top adds flexibility to the deck layout, giving the option of sun or shade for alfresco dining and drinks - a feature particularly suited to American-style outdoor living.

With her light African wood finish and floor-to-ceiling windows, Emina’s interior feels effortlessly serene.

Interior Design

The interior of Emina is styled under Benetti’s ‘Air’ decor scheme, developed in collaboration with Redman Whiteley Dixon and enhanced by the commissioning owners’ personal designer. Light, modern, and tranquil, the palette is anchored by tropical African Kato (also known as Tay or Koto) wood, stained a soft grey. This flows throughout the guest areas and staterooms, tying the spaces together in a warm and cohesive aesthetic.

The main saloon is open and airy, styled with neutral Minotti furnishings and flanked by large windows that flood the space with natural light. It transitions naturally into the formal dining area, which seats 12. Floor-to-ceiling glass near the dining space amplifies the connection to the outside world, offering sweeping views without compromising on comfort. Forward to port is the galley, designed with stone surfaces and another large window - a workspace any chef would be happy with.

Above, the Sky Lounge provides a more relaxed upper salon with comfortable Minotti furniture, two flat-screen TVs, and generous windows. A wet bar sits to port, while a day head is tucked neatly to starboard, ideal for entertaining guests upstairs without needing to return to the main deck.

Forward of the Sky Lounge lies the wheelhouse. The helm station offers modern navigation equipment and excellent visibility. A guest settee is located just aft of the controls - a spot to sit back and watch the journey unfold. Between the helm and the lounge is the captain’s cabin, efficiently placed for quick access during passages.

Accommodation

Emina accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins and carries a crew of 8. Her arrangement puts a twist on convention, starting with the main deck’s forward section. Instead of a master suite, this prime space has been transformed into a gym - likely the largest found on any 42m yacht. Outfitted with four treadmills, TechnoGym equipment, and a full set of weights, it reflects the owners’ passion for fitness. A massage room is positioned to port, tucked away just beside the fold-out balcony that was added by special request - an upgrade borrowed from the Benetti Classic Supreme 132.

Down below, the full-beam master stateroom takes its place forward, featuring a settee, a hanging locker to starboard, and a spacious ensuite bathroom to port. Two symmetrical VIP suites are located aft, each with queen-sized beds and their own ensuites. Flanking the stairwell are two twin cabins with side-by-side beds and Pullman berths overhead, also paired with private bathrooms.

Crew accommodation supports up to eight, housed separately to ensure privacy for both guests and staff.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000M93L) 12-cylinder 3,500hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Emina is capable of reaching a top speed of 21 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 9,246 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,250 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Emina’s beach club isn’t just a hatch - it’s a fully realised destination.

Amenities

Waterfront living can be enjoyed to the fullest, thanks to a large beach club and connecting swim platform with plenty of space for sitting back and admiring the sea views. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Emina also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.

Special Features

At the request of the owner, the area originally designed as the captain's cabin has been converted into an additional luxury bedroom.
