Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 2.27m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 289 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2018. This was the ninth yacht built on the Navetta 37 design. She was delivered to her owners in August 2020.
Exterior Design
Kiki V is a Custom Line Navetta 33, measuring 33m (108.3ft), with exterior styling by Zuccon International Project. The profile follows the yard’s semi-displacement Navetta line, with full, rounded volumes and a forward section shaped for efficiency, including a bulbous bow. Broad glazing defines the superstructure, with long bands of dark glass running across the main and upper decks, which visually lower the profile while also opening up the interior.
Outdoor spaces are spread across three decks and designed for regular use. The sun deck sits at the top with a spa pool, sunpads and open lounging areas, while the upper deck extends aft into a quiet terrace with seating and open views. The main deck connects directly to the water through a folding balcony and a beach club arrangement aft.
At the stern, the Dual Mode Transom system shifts between two functions. When launching tenders and PWCs, the transom opens and the platform lowers so craft can float out. In its second mode, the same area folds flat to create a large teak swim platform of around 16m² (172ft²), which adds a proper water-level space for guests.
Interior Design
The interior of Kiki V is built around the owner’s preference for contemporary art, and the layout and material choices reflect that from the start. Finishes stay controlled, with light oak flooring, neutral fabrics and soft tones, so the spaces act as a backdrop for artworks rather than competing with them.
The main saloon runs across the aft main deck and combines lounge and dining areas in a single space. Minotti furniture shapes the seating arrangement, with a granite-toned sofa and low tables, while the dining area forward centres on a Poliform table with Minotti chairs. Large windows on both sides bring in steady natural light, which suits the artwork placed throughout the room.
Art is integrated across the yacht rather than treated as decoration. Works by artists such as Alighiero Boetti and Alex Katz are positioned as focal points within the layout, so movement through the interior follows a clear visual sequence.
On the upper deck, the lounge is arranged around a more informal setup, including a vintage Louis Vuitton trunk used as a coffee table and a curved Flexform sofa. This space connects directly to the exterior deck, so it works as a quieter retreat with open views.
Accommodation
Kiki V accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, with a layout that balances privacy and access to shared spaces.
The owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck and spans the full beam. It includes a king-size bed, a private sitting area and large side windows, which bring in light and maintain a direct connection to the sea. The space also incorporates selected artworks, including pieces by Robert Longo, which continue the design theme found throughout the yacht.
On the lower deck, four guest cabins are arranged as VIP suites, each with ensuite bathrooms and large windows that reduce the sense of being below deck. The cabins use the same restrained palette and material choices as the main areas, while photography by Terry O’Neill adds detail without crowding the spaces.
Crew accommodation is arranged separately, with space for six, which supports service without affecting guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12 LE446) 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Kiki V is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 35,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
