Design & Construction
Designed around a planing fiberglass hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 6.5m beam and a 1.7m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 105 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Mercedes is a Viking 80 Enclosed Bridge with Skybridge measuring 24.54m (80ft 6in), built in GRP with a planing hull and is a clear sportfisher. The profile is long and low with a sharp entry forward and a clean sheer line that drops toward the cockpit, so the stance reads fast even at rest.
The hull uses a pronounced forward chine to push spray down and away, which supports a dry ride at speed. Dark glazing wraps the deckhouse, while the metallic mask around the windows gives the upper structure a strong, unified look.
The skybridge defines the exterior. It sits above the enclosed bridge and works as a second helm with open sightlines in all directions. A Palm Beach Towers hardtop carries antennas and gear overhead, while the layout below includes helm seating, guest seating and practical storage.
At deck level, the cockpit is set up for serious fishing. It spans around 20sqm (216sqft) and includes teak decking, a Bluewater fighting chair, full-length fish boxes, livewell capability and multiple rod holders. The mezzanine above adds shaded seating, refrigeration and tackle storage, so the space works as both a working deck and a social area.
Forward, the bow remains clear and practical, with room for anchoring gear and tender handling, supported by a hydraulic windlass and reinforced deck fittings.
Interior Design
The interior uses high-gloss walnut throughout, paired with backlit stone surfaces and clean, built-in cabinetry. The finish leans toward a warm, polished look, while the layout keeps movement simple between spaces.
The main saloon sits aft with a large L-shaped sofa, a hi-lo table and a TV on a lift, so the space can shift between lounge and media use. Light comes through wide side windows, while dimmable lighting and concealed air-conditioning keep the environment controlled.
Forward of the saloon, the galley is fully equipped with Sub-Zero refrigeration drawers, a Miele oven, a four-burner cooktop and custom stone worktops. A U-shaped dinette sits alongside, which creates a practical dining space without breaking up the flow. Storage is built in throughout, including a walk-in pantry with laundry.
The enclosed bridge sits above, fitted with navigation screens and seating, so it works as a second interior lounge while under way.
Accommodation
Sportsfisher yacht Mercedes accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, with space for up to 5 crew.
The master suite sits full beam and includes a king-size bed, seating, a vanity and separate his-and-hers storage. Large portlights bring in light on both sides, while the en suite includes twin sinks and a full shower.
Guest cabins include a forward VIP with a queen bed, a second double cabin and two twin cabins with upper and lower berths. Each cabin has its own en suite, along with built-in storage, entertainment systems and climate control.
Crew accommodation is arranged separately, so service can run without crossing into guest areas.
