Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.45m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 370 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in March 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Shine carries exterior styling by Cristiano Gatto Design, developed from an earlier concept by SFG Design, and the result is a low, flowing profile built around long glazing bands and soft curves. At 40m (131ft) the yacht stretches across three decks, and the design uses a dark silver-grey hull paired with extensive black glazing so the superstructure reads as one continuous line along the yacht’s length.
The bow rises high and slightly raked, with a clean forward deck and a subtle gunwale opening that helps shape the forward profile. From there the glazing runs as a broad horizontal band across the main deck, which visually lowers the superstructure and creates a strong connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding sea. The design then flows aft through a series of curved deck lines, with the quarter-deck forming a smooth arch where the main deck rises toward the sun deck and radar canopy.
The aft section centres around a large teak bathing platform, which wraps slightly around the hull sides to create additional usable space at water level. Twin staircases descend from the main deck aft to this platform, while a central transom door opens to reveal guest amenities and access to the beach club area. Shell doors along the aft side decks provide access to tender and watercraft storage, keeping equipment concealed when not in use.
Exterior seating areas are arranged across several levels. The main deck aft features curved sunpads facing aft together with a forward-facing banquette, creating a relaxed social space close to the water. Forward, the foredeck is arranged around an elevated square jacuzzi pool, surrounded by U-shaped seating and occasional tables.
Above, the sun deck sits beneath a bold black canopy that provides shade while maintaining the yacht’s strong horizontal profile. The radar mast rakes slightly aft to continue the motion of the design, and the layered deck arrangement helps keep the overall silhouette long and balanced.
Construction uses all-aluminium hull and superstructure paired with a round-bilge fast-displacement hull developed by Ginton Naval Architects. This configuration supports both performance and efficiency, with the yacht capable of speeds up to 24 knots while meeting ABS class standards and IMO Tier III emissions regulations.
Interior Design
The interior of Shine was developed by Cristiano Gatto Design, who also refined the yacht’s exterior styling during the design process. The design approach centres on craftsmanship and material richness rather than overt styling statements, creating an environment that reflects the owners’ brief for a highly personalised yacht.
Around 78 different materials are used throughout the interior, including ebony wood, fine leather and a wide selection of custom furnishings designed specifically for the project. These elements are layered carefully to create depth and texture within the spaces while maintaining a coherent overall aesthetic.
Accommodation
Shine accommodates up to 10 guests across five staterooms and 8 crew.
The owner’s suite is located on the main deck, giving the owners privacy and forward views while keeping the accommodation separate from the guest cabins below. Positioning the owner’s suite on this level also allows the lower deck to be dedicated entirely to guest spaces.
Guest accommodation on the lower deck includes two VIP cabins and two twin guest suites, arranged to provide flexibility for different guest groups.
Crew accommodation is located forward and includes three ensuite double crew cabins, with the captain’s cabin positioned on the bridge deck. This arrangement allows the yacht to operate with a compact professional crew while maintaining clear separation between guest and service areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000) engines, motor yacht Shine is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 19 knots.
