50m Bilgin 163 Superyacht Camilla to Make Her Global Debut at Monaco Yacht Show 2025

Delivered this summer, the 50m superyacht Camilla will make her international debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, where she is expected to attract attention for her athletic profile, high-volume layout, and bespoke interior design.

As the second hull in the Bilgin 163 II series, the vessel was a collaborative project between Bilgin Yachts, the owner, FGI Yacht Group, Unique Yacht Design, and Hot Lab.

A Refined Evolution in the Bilgin 163 Series

Exterior design and naval architecture of the superyacht come from Istanbul-based Unique Yacht Design, which has drawn a sleek, low-profile silhouette with soft curves and sharp detailing. “What sets Camila apart is her enhanced volume crafted into a sleek, fluid form,” said Emrecan Özgün, founder of Unique Yacht Design. Her layout provides 20 percent more space than typical 48-meter yachts, while maintaining the sporty, clean lines that characterize the Bilgin DNA.

We focused on continuity between spaces, connecting the main deck aft to the beach club and sea, while maintaining the clean, athletic lines that define the Bilgin DNA.”

Özgün emphasized how spatial continuity guided the design approach, particularly in connecting the main deck aft with the beach club. “Every area is designed to bring guests closer to the sea while offering ample space for both social gatherings and quiet relaxation,” he said.

Interiors Tailored to the Owner's Vision

The interiors of the yacht were entrusted to Milan-based Hot Lab, continuing the studio’s longstanding partnership with Bilgin. “This is the second 50-meter yacht we’ve developed for Bilgin,” said Enrico Lumini, Partner and Head of Design at Hot Lab. “It reflects a natural evolution of our shared design direction, bringing refined materials and elegant detailing together with functional comfort.”

Interior spaces are described as a personal expression of the owner's lifestyle. According to Bilgin Yachts Commercial Director Berkay Yılmaz, the owner was highly involved in the design process. “Her interiors have been described as a beautiful, bespoke homage to the owner’s lifestyle,” said Yılmaz. “The elegantly designed elements inside and out made her a stunning yacht.”

FGI Yacht Group played a key role in bringing the motor yacht together. Frank Grzeszczak Jr., Vice President, described the experience as “exceptional,” noting how the collaboration with both a seasoned client and a responsive shipyard shaped a successful build.

Engineering for Long-Distance Cruising

Powered by twin CAT C32 engines, Camila reaches a top speed of 16.5 knots and cruises comfortably at 12 knots. At that pace, she offers a transoceanic range of 5,000 nautical miles. With a full displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure, she displaces 495 tons at full load and has a gross tonnage of 499 GT.

Her layout prioritizes both sociable and private living, including a spacious beach club, expansive sundecks, and generously sized guest areas.

Upcoming Yachts in the Bilgin Pipeline

According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, Bilgin Yachts currently has 14 yachts under construction or on order, spanning a range of series between 50 and 70 meters.

One of the most active platforms is the Bilgin 170, with up to eight units in progress. This 52-meter model shares the same steel hull and aluminum superstructure configuration as Camila, and also features exterior styling by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by Hot Lab. The Bilgin 170 offers accommodation for 12 guests across six cabins, with a large sundeck complete with a Jacuzzi and dining area.

Closely related is the Bilgin 173, a 53-meter design with a similar layout and guest capacity, and a slightly shorter range. At the upper end of the yard’s current activity is the 74-meter Bilgin 243, which introduces a nine-cabin layout and crew capacity for 16. These full-displacement yachts also carry a 5,000-nautical-mile range, reinforcing Bilgin’s focus on long-range comfort and engineering.

Camila’s Monaco debut highlights Bilgin’s refined 50-meter platform and growing presence in the 50- to 70-meter segment. With multiple series in build, the shipyard is steadily expanding its global footprint.
