Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.7m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 328 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2001. She was delivered to her owners in March 2004.

Exterior Design

Ariela is the first hull in CRN's 128 series, a 39.6m (129.9ft) tri-deck motor yacht that combines the builder's substantial volume with the flowing lines that defined many Italian yachts of the early 2000s. Designed by Zuccon International Project, her profile remains elegant today, with a long sweeping sheerline, soft curves around the superstructure and a raked bow that gives the yacht a noticeably sportier stance than many displacement yachts of similar size.

The tri-deck arrangement creates a very balanced profile. Large bands of dark glazing run through the hull and superstructure, visually reducing the yacht's volume while bringing good natural light into the interior. From the aerial view, the deck layout is particularly clear, with wide side decks, a generous foredeck sunbathing area and multiple outdoor entertaining zones spread across the yacht.

The sundeck is one of Ariela's strongest exterior spaces. A jacuzzi sits forward with elevated views, while the remaining deck area provides room for sun loungers, casual seating and outdoor entertaining. Below, the upper deck aft offers a lovely shaded setting for dining or relaxing, protected by the sundeck overhang while still remaining connected to the sea.

At water level, Ariela has a generous swimming platform and an enclosed garage with hydraulic openings to aft, port and starboard. This arrangement improves tender handling and also creates a useful waterside leisure area when at anchor. The side-opening garage concept was an innovative feature when the CRN 128 series launched and still adds flexibility today.

Interior Design

The interior combines styling from Zuccon International Project and Fendi, creating an atmosphere that feels warm, elegant and distinctly Italian. Rich materials, carefully detailed joinery and soft furnishings provide a more residential character than many contemporary minimalist interiors.

Large windows throughout the main deck bring excellent natural light into the guest areas. The main saloon benefits from the yacht's 7.6m (24.9ft) beam, creating a spacious environment for socialising, dining and relaxing. The layout balances formal entertaining space with comfortable everyday living, which is particularly important on a yacht designed to accommodate 12 guests.

The upper deck provides an additional lounge area, giving owners and guests flexibility to separate into different social spaces during longer cruises. The tri-deck arrangement naturally creates good circulation throughout the yacht and allows guests to move easily between indoor and outdoor areas.

Accommodation

Ariela offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000) 2,736hp engines, motor yacht Ariela is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 28,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at 23 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
