Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.38m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 267 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Atlantica Seconda is a classic Benetti displacement yacht whose profile remains firmly rooted in the Italian yard's design language of the early 1970s. A gently raked bow, long foredeck and elegant canoe stern create a balanced silhouette that differs markedly from the sharper forms seen on modern motor yachts. Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure provide the proportions and presence associated with traditional long-range cruising yachts, while the relatively low superstructure helps maintain clean horizontal lines across all three decks.
The white hull and superstructure are complemented by teak decks and fine detailing that suit her vintage character. Large rectangular windows line the main deck, while smaller hull portlights provide light to the lower accommodation. The open decks favour practical outdoor living rather than high-density furniture arrangements, creating a relaxed atmosphere throughout.
The main aft deck offers a sheltered outdoor lounge and dining space, while the bridge deck provides a second entertaining area with elevated views. Above, the sundeck forms the yacht's primary open-air social space, with ample room for sun loungers, casual seating and outdoor relaxation. From the photographs, the upper deck arrangement retains the understated style of a traditional Benetti rather than adopting contemporary beach club or resort-style features.
A notable practical feature is the Benetti chain elevator, which serves the decks internally and reflects the yacht's original brief as a comfortable long-range cruising platform.
Interior Design
While Atlantica Seconda retains the character expected of a classic Benetti, her interior has benefited from ongoing updates and a major refit completed in 2022.
The main deck saloon provides the principal guest gathering space, arranged around comfortable seating and entertainment systems including a Bose Lifestyle audio package and Apple TV integration. Large windows introduce natural light throughout the space, while the generous beam creates a surprisingly open feel for a yacht of this vintage.
A second lounge on the bridge deck provides a more informal retreat and extends the usable living space for owners and guests during longer cruises. The yacht's interior arrangement prioritises comfort and practicality, reflecting her role as a long-range cruising yacht rather than a short-stay charter platform.
The galley is particularly well equipped, with multiple commercial-grade refrigeration units, professional dishwashers, Miele appliances and extensive preparation space. Combined with a large crew mess, this setup supports extended periods aboard and larger guest groups.
Accommodation
Atlantica Seconda accommodates up to eight guests in four cabins and carries up to seven crew.
The owner's suite occupies a privileged position on the main deck. In addition to the sleeping area, it includes a dedicated desk, a separate 10m² (108ft²) dressing room and a spacious en suite bathroom with both a bathtub and shower. This arrangement provides a level of privacy more commonly associated with larger yachts.
Guest accommodation is located on the lower deck and consists of a full-beam VIP suite and two guest cabins with Pullman berths. The layout offers flexibility for families while maintaining comfortable accommodation for eight guests.
Crew accommodation is arranged separately and includes a large 15m² (161ft²) crew mess, supporting professional operation during extended cruising. Accommodation is available for up to seven crew members across four cabins.
