Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.16m beam and a 1.95m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 182 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the 90 Ocean Enclosed design.
Exterior Design
The Sunseeker 90 Ocean Aurelius takes a noticeably different approach from the brand's traditional performance yacht styling. Her near-vertical plumb bow pushes volume further forward, while the broad 7.2m (23.6ft) beam carries substantial internal space across the length of the yacht. From the side profile, the design is defined by sharp geometric hull glazing, dark window bands and clean horizontal lines that emphasise her length.
The most distinctive feature is the enclosed flybridge. Rather than an open upper helm deck, Aurelius incorporates a fully enclosed, air-conditioned skylounge wrapped in glass. The structure creates an expedition-style profile while maintaining the sleek appearance expected from a modern Sunseeker.
Large floor-to-ceiling windows dominate the main deck and bring natural light deep into the interior. Midship cutaway bulwarks improve views from inside while reducing the visual mass of the hull sides. The result is a yacht that feels unusually open for her size.
Outdoor living areas are spread across multiple levels. The foredeck provides a private lounge and sunbathing area ahead of the superstructure, while the aft cockpit connects directly to the main salon through wide sliding glass doors. At the stern, Sunseeker's X-TEND seating system transforms the beach club area into a flexible waterside terrace. Combined with the large swim platform, this creates a substantial social space at anchor that extends well beyond the yacht's transom.
Interior Design
Aurelius was designed around volume, natural light and open-plan living. The enclosed flybridge arrangement allows the main deck to function as a full-beam loft-style living area rather than sacrificing space to an internal helm station.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing runs along both sides of the main salon, creating uninterrupted sightlines and drawing in natural light throughout the day. The connection between interior and exterior spaces is particularly strong, with large sliding doors linking the salon directly to the aft deck.
The layout prioritises flexibility and social interaction. Lounge and dining areas flow naturally into one another, creating a contemporary living environment suited to extended cruising as well as entertaining. The generous beam and 95GT volume become especially apparent in the main deck spaces, where the yacht feels considerably larger than her 27m (88.6ft) length might suggest.
Above, the enclosed flybridge serves as a second interior living area. Fully climate-controlled and surrounded by glass, it functions as a skylounge with elevated views while providing protection from weather and strong sunlight. The raised helm position is integrated into this space, allowing owners and guests to remain connected while underway.
Accommodation
Aurelius accommodates up to eight guests across four staterooms and carries a crew of four.
The full-beam owner's suite is the centrepiece of the accommodation layout, benefiting from the yacht's wide beam to create a particularly spacious private retreat. Large hull windows bring natural light into the cabin and maintain a strong visual connection with the water.
Guest accommodation consists of three additional staterooms arranged on the lower deck. The layout provides flexibility for family cruising or hosting multiple couples, while maintaining privacy between guest areas and crew operations.
Crew accommodation for four allows service areas to remain separate from guest spaces, supporting both private ownership and charter use.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1650) 1,650hp engines, motor yacht Aurelius is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 13,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,100 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots.
