The 49th edition runs from 8-13 September 2026, with 680 exhibitors and boats ranging from 5m to 55m. Almost 56,000 international visitors are expected over the six-day show. YachtBuyer is on the ground in Cannes, reporting live on new launches, debuts and the yachts buyers can inspect throughout the week.
Opening day brings a strong concentration of first appearances, led by new flagships from Azimut, Sirena and Princess, alongside major premieres from Sunreef, Sanlorenzo and Sunseeker. The brokerage fleet also includes everything from recent explorer yachts to established custom superyachts close to 50m.

Key Figures for the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival
Current YachtBuyer Intelligence data records 117 superyachts attending Cannes, close to the 120 seen in 2025 and above the 113 recorded in 2024. This year's fleet measures 4.04km collectively, with an average length of 34.57m, compared with 34.34m last year and 32.38m in 2024.
The fleet is also getting younger. Average age now stands at 4.65 years, down from 5.16 years in 2025 and 6.63 years two years ago. Of the 117 superyachts currently recorded, 70 are classified as new yachts, with 59 delivered during 2026. Current-year deliveries stood at 55 in 2025 and 44 in 2024.
Cannes also remains heavily weighted toward first appearances. YachtBuyer currently tracks 97 superyacht debuts, against 104 last year and 93 in 2024. That sits within a much larger show-wide debut program, with the organizer reporting almost 150 world premieres among the complete 700-boat fleet. Motor yachts account for 109 of the 117 attending superyachts.
Beyond the superyacht sector, Port Canto hosts 120 new sailing boats over 10m and 180 dayboats up to 13m, while around 30 power catamarans are displayed in the Power Cat Village. The 2026 Innovation Route also features 47 selected boats, technologies, services and initiatives.
Brokerage remains significant. YachtBuyer records 62 attending superyachts currently for sale, representing around $640 million in asking prices, with an average asking price of $10.3 million. The yachts for sale average 38.53m in length. A further 25 attending yachts are available for charter, representing 21.37% of the tracked superyacht fleet.

Major Debuts to Watch at Cannes 2026
Port Canto's dedicated Yacht Brokerage Area has 45 pre-owned yachts over 25m available for sale, giving buyers a concentrated display of larger brokerage inventory.
At 43.85m, the Azimut Grande 44M is the largest yacht Azimut has built and makes its world debut after seven units were sold before the first hull launched. Alberto Mancini designed the four-deck exterior, while its technical package includes mild-hybrid technology and a carbon-fiber Hull Vane foil aimed at improving efficiency.

The 36m Sirena 118 also arrives as a new flagship. Sirena's largest GRP yacht to date uses a fast-displacement hull developed by Germán Frers, while an optional six-cabin arrangement gives the owner a two-level suite linked by a private spiral staircase. British builder Princess uses Cannes for the world premiere of the 26.77m Princess X90, positioned between the X80 and X95 Vista. Its Super Flybridge layout provides an enclosed skylounge, three exterior areas and a main-deck owner's cabin, with an optional fifth guest cabin available.
Multihull buyers have another major premiere in the 26.8m Sunreef Ultima 88. The power catamaran has a quoted 26-knot top speed, folding terraces and a hydraulic platform, and has already attracted a high-profile order from tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.
The 25.5m Sanlorenzo SHE takes a markedly different direction. The first model in Sanlorenzo's new Heritage series references 1960s Italian navettas, but introduces the builder's first Volvo Penta IPS hybrid system. Five units had already been sold before its Cannes premiere.

The Brokerage Yachts Buyers Should See at Cannes
At just under 50m, Rossinavi's Flying Dagger III is one of the more performance-focused yachts for sale at the show. Delivered in 2018, the 495GT custom yacht uses triple KaMeWa waterjets and reaches a quoted 27 knots, while exterior styling by Team for Design drew inspiration from Aston Martin. She is currently asking €23.5 million.

Similar in length but very different in character, 49.85m Renegade was originally delivered by Lloyds Ships in 1992 and most recently refitted in 2025. Her aluminium platform offers a quoted 3,500nm range, five guest cabins and accommodation for ten, with an asking price of €8.95 million. The 46.4m CRN Alaska arrives following a 2026 refit. Designed inside and out by Nuvolari Lenard, the 2005 displacement yacht carries 480GT and offers a quoted 4,200nm range at 11 knots. She is currently on the market for €12.9 million.
Further options include the 40.24m Alegre by Benetti, asking €12.9 million after a 2023 refit; the much newer 36.9m Jules, a Benetti B.Yond 37M delivered in 2025 and listed at €24.9 million; and the 36.88m Oscar, a Numarine 37XP 2023 explorer-style yacht with a quoted 4,500nm range and €14.2 million asking price.
Also attending is 46m Pick Up, a 46Steel delivered in 2011 by Sanlorenzo and refitted in 2025. Francesco Paszkowski handled the exterior design, while the 511GT yacht includes a beach club accessible from both the cockpit and main saloon. Her current asking price is €13.5 million.
What the 2026 Cannes Fleet Tells Us
The 2026 lineup points to a market still pushing hard on new product. Almost 150 world premieres are scheduled across the show, while YachtBuyer tracks 70 new superyachts among the attending fleet. At 4.65 years, the average age remains below both 2025 and 2024 levels, reinforcing Cannes' role as an important launch venue rather than simply a place to display established models.
For buyers, much of the interest sits around the 25m to 45m bracket, where new flagships from Azimut, Sirena and Princess sit alongside models such as the Sanlorenzo SHE, Sunreef Ultima 88 and Numarine 40MXP. Cannes therefore gives buyers a useful opportunity to compare different approaches to layout, propulsion, volume and intended use within a relatively tight size range.
The brokerage presence adds another layer. With 62 attending superyachts currently for sale, buyers can assess new-build pricing and specifications against yachts already available on the secondary market, where delivery is immediate and ownership history is established. For builders and brokers, that makes Cannes a useful gauge of where buyers are placing value - whether on newer technology and layouts, or on proven yachts offering more volume for the money.
