Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement kevlar composite hull and a composite superstructure she features a 9.33m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 497 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the Couach 5000 FLY design. Launched in March 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2014.
Exterior Design
Belongers is a 50m (164ft) semi-displacement motor yacht built in robust Carbon/Kevlar composite by Couach Yachts, drawing on the yard’s military engineering background. Delivered as hull number two in the 5000 Fly series, she benefits from refinements over the first yacht in the line, with improvements to both layout and performance.
Her exterior styling balances strength and elegance. The hull is finished in a subtle pale grey, topped by a brilliant white superstructure. Dark-tinted glazing sweeps across the decks in long horizontal bands, giving a strong visual contrast and allowing natural light deep into the interiors. The overall profile is clean and angular, softened by curves around the superstructure, with decks tiered neatly for an uncluttered silhouette. Antennas and domes are grouped at the mast to keep the upper line crisp, while her shallow 2.6m (8.5ft) draft ensures she sits close to the water and can explore anchorages off-limits to deeper-drafted yachts.
Exterior living areas are expansive and versatile. The sundeck provides wide sunpads, sofa seating both aft and midships, and a gas barbecue for relaxed open-air dining. Unusually, it also features a private office with wraparound glazing, offering panoramic views and a quiet workspace. On the upper deck aft, a dining table seats 12 for al fresco meals, with a lounge zone set just behind for more informal gatherings. Forward on the main deck, guests can enjoy a jacuzzi and built-in seating overlooking the bow.
The main aft deck flows down to the broad swim platform, which doubles as a beach club. This area acts as a waterside lounge for sunbathing or a practical launch point for her toys and tenders. Belongers carries a well-equipped collection, including two Seadoo jet skis, diving equipment, a Jungle Joe inflatable, and a 5.8m (19ft) Novurania Chase tender.
Interior Design
The interiors were entrusted to German outfitter Metrica, who delivered a contemporary, minimalist scheme with light oak finishes, pale textures, and carefully chosen accents. The design uses neutral tones offset by darker details in the furniture, creating a calm, understated atmosphere. Large windows frame the saloons and guest spaces, maintaining a constant connection to the sea.
The main saloon on the main deck is arranged with three large sofas around a low table, alongside a Samsung TV. Its floor-to-ceiling glazing ensures light and views dominate the room. Above, the sky lounge provides a more intimate setting, fitted with a corner sofa and a games table, ideal for evenings indoors.
Belongers also includes a Hammam steam shower on the upper deck, reflecting the yacht’s focus on wellness and guest comfort.
Accommodation
Belongers offers accommodation for up to 14 guests across a flexible six-cabin layout. The full-beam Master suite is positioned forward on the main deck, making the most of sweeping curved windows that bring in light and sea views. It includes two walk-in wardrobes and a pair of his-and-hers bathrooms, providing both space and privacy.
On the lower deck, there are two generous double cabins and two twins. One of the twins can be converted to a double, and both include Pullman berths, giving families and larger groups plenty of options. Each cabin is finished with its own ensuite bathroom and carefully considered storage, maintaining comfort and practicality.
The upper deck holds a multipurpose cabin that can serve as a wellness space or an additional guest cabin. It is fitted with a foldaway double bed and a private Hammam steam shower, offering flexibility for different cruising needs.
Crew accommodation is arranged for up to 10 across five cabins, ensuring professional service while keeping operational areas discreetly separate from guest spaces.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (20V 4000 M93) 5,230hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Belongers is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 46,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,750 nautical miles at an economic speed of 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Belongers also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
