Sold by Kent Harrington of Edmiston and scheduled for delivery in 2027, the yacht is already under construction and will be available for charter once complete.
From Sauna to Sea: A Yacht Designed for Active Living
Designed around a philosophy of active living and restorative comfort, Project Discovery reimagines the modern cruising experience. Interior designer Dasha Moranova of Amsterdam-based Dasha Moranova Designs described the concept as “the perfect balance between an active lifestyle and pure relaxation.” She added, “Mornings can begin with a workout, a cold plunge, or time in the sauna, followed by catching fresh fish for lunch, which can be measured and weighed on our ‘smart deck’ before being grilled outdoors.”
The yacht’s design promotes wellbeing throughout, from her open decks to her purpose-built wellness spaces. The lazarette, often reserved for storage, has been re-envisioned as a multifunctional retreat housing a sauna, cold plunge tub, full dive setup, paddleboards, and coolers for fresh catches.
Inside Project Discovery
Moranova’s approach aims to create a warm, residential atmosphere. The main saloon departs from convention, trading the standard saloon-to-dining sequence for an open lounge anchored by a generous sofa and a dining table for twelve. A circular bar clad in a stone mosaic acts as a focal point and continues the natural color palette of the exterior.
Material choices are deliberately tactile and sustainable. Light and dark woods, natural stone, seaglass, and eco-conscious decking create a visual and physical flow between indoor and outdoor areas. Custom lighting and curated tableware lend a personal touch, while the overall aesthetic maintains a balance between sophistication and livability.
Outdoor Spaces Built for Fitness and Fun
Every deck aboard Project Discovery has been designed to encourage time spent outdoors. The sundeck includes sunpads, a grill, and an inflatable slide, while the bridge deck features an outdoor dining table for twelve.
Between the bridge and the Sea-Doo area sits a dedicated open-air gym that brings fitness into the natural environment with panoramic sea views.
Flexible Living for Charter and Private Use
Accommodation on board the motor yacht is set for up to 12 guests across five cabins, emphasizing flexibility for families and charter use. Highlights include a convertible VIP suite that can merge two cabins for dual charter principals and a dedicated children’s cabin.
The sky lounge adds another layer of adaptability, featuring a pullout sofa, full bath, and closet to serve as an additional guest cabin when needed.
