Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 42' beam and a 11'6" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 2,030 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in January 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2025.
Exterior Design
Amalya’s exterior makes a bold and memorable impression with its distinctive two-tone hull in shimmering aquamarine blue and ice white. The paintwork captures and reflects the light in shifting tones, enhancing the sculptural flow of the yacht’s lines. A single, continuous sheerline sweeps from bow to stern, lending a sense of movement to the profile.
The yacht is configured across three decks - rare for a vessel of this size, which contributes to its more athletic, contemporary silhouette without sacrificing usable volume. The upper deck includes a Touch & Go helipad, allowing for seamless arrival and departure by air. Towards the aft, a 6m (19.6ft) swimming pool provides a focal point for outdoor relaxation, while a dedicated dive area caters to those looking to explore beneath the surface.
Interior Design
Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design has shaped Amalya’s interior around a sense of calm and flow. A muted, harmonious colour palette is paired with premium materials and detailing throughout. Spaces feel light and spacious, aided by large, floor-to-ceiling windows that draw in natural light and extend the connection to the sea.
The bridge deck saloon is designed with generous glazing that frames uninterrupted views and creates a tranquil, open atmosphere. Adjacent to the VIP suite, it offers a refined space for guests to gather or unwind. On the main deck, the dining area is punctuated by a striking designer chandelier, adding a sculptural centrepiece to the refined, uncluttered interiors.
A fully equipped gym and a private spa are available for guests, offering a tailored space for relaxation and fitness away from the more sociable areas.
Accommodation
Amalya accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins, laid out to balance privacy with ease of access to shared spaces. The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck, offering space and natural light along with direct access to the main areas of the yacht. On the bridge deck, a full-beam VIP suite sits beside the saloon, giving it a sense of privacy while remaining close to the social heart of the yacht.
The remaining four guest cabins are arranged on the lower deck, thoughtfully distributed to ensure comfort and convenience.
Performance & Capabilities
Amalya’s propulsion system combines traditional power with forward-thinking engineering to deliver a smooth and quiet ride, backed by solid performance figures. She is equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines, each producing 1,622hp, enabling a top speed of 17 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots.
Beneath her clean, sculptural lines, the engine room hosts an advanced diesel-electric system that further enhances efficiency and onboard comfort. The setup integrates five variable-speed generators with a pair of 2-megawatt azimuthing pods, delivering a total output of approximately 5 megawatts. This allows for precise manoeuvrability, particularly during docking, while keeping vibration and noise to a minimum.
A lithium polymer battery pack plays a key role in reducing emissions and fuel use. It enables peak shaving to avoid unnecessary generator start-up during load spikes and ensures blackout protection when docked. In addition, the system supports several hours of silent, zero-emission cruising, contributing to a calmer atmosphere on board and a lighter environmental footprint.
Exhaust gases are treated using a combination of SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) systems, then routed through the top of the mast for cleaner air dispersion.
