The 92' sail yacht Cabochon was delivered to her owners in 2004 by Ta Chiao Chou. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Ted Fontaine's design team.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement kevlar composite hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 21' beam and a 18' draft. The yacht is built over 1 decks with an internal volume of 99 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2002. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in December 2004.

Accommodation

Cabochon offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 3 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 twin cabins and 2 cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 1 x diesel John Deere (6090SFM75) 6-cylinder 375hp engines, motor yacht Cabochon is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 2,000 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles.
