More Details

The 33.91m motor yacht Deep Sea was delivered to her owners in 2010 by British shipyard Sunseeker. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Sunseeker, while Don Shead Yacht Design is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Sunseeker 34 Metre Yacht
  • Large hydraulic swim platform
  • Flybridge spa pool
  • 26-knot top speed

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.39m beam and a 2.28m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 206 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the twelfth yacht built on the 34 Metre Yacht design.

Exterior Design

Deep Sea is a Sunseeker 34 Metre Yacht, a design shaped by Don Shead and Sunseeker’s in-house team to combine superyacht scale with a distinctly aggressive profile. The raised pilothouse arrangement keeps the yacht visually low and streamlined while still allowing for a full upper helm and expansive guest accommodation beneath.

Her profile is built around long, flowing lines that rise gradually from the bow toward the stern, capped by an elongated flybridge hardtop that stretches aft in one continuous aerodynamic sweep. Sharp geometric detailing across the superstructure adds to the yacht’s sporty appearance, particularly the angular glazing sections and large triangular cutouts integrated into the upper structure.

The hull sides are dominated by continuous dark glazing bands, which visually lengthen the yacht while also bringing strong natural light into the guest accommodation below deck. Full-height saloon windows on the main deck further reduce the visual weight of the superstructure and strengthen the indoor-outdoor connection throughout the main living spaces.

The aft deck is arranged for open-air dining with direct access into the saloon through large glass doors, while stairways connect guests up to the sundeck. Above, the sundeck becomes the yacht’s main exterior social space, with a large spa pool aft surrounded by sunbathing areas, a substantial bar with revolving stools, and dining space for up to 12 guests. Optional canopy sections and parasols provide shade when required.

Forward, the foredeck maintains the clean, flush styling typical of the 34M series, integrating sunpads and lounge seating into the low-profile bow arrangement. At the stern, later-generation styling introduced a larger hydraulic swim platform and enlarged garage space for tenders and water toys, improving usability without disrupting the yacht’s flowing lines.

Interior Design

Deep Sea features one of the most highly customised interiors produced within the Sunseeker 34 Metre Yacht series. The styling centres around a monochrome palette that blends dark woods with white Fendi furnishings, black crystal-accented cushions and polished contemporary detailing. Despite the strong contrast, the spaces feel warm and opulent rather than stark or minimalist.

The main saloon follows an open social arrangement with generous seating areas and strong natural light from the near full-height glazing. Forward, the formal dining area sits beneath a Philippe Starck mirror, adding a more sculptural design element within the otherwise restrained contemporary styling.

Entertainment systems play a major role throughout the yacht. Bang & Olufsen surround sound is integrated across guest spaces and cabins, while televisions and upgraded media systems support both private cruising and charter use.

Accommodation

Deep Sea accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins. The arrangement includes a full-beam master suite, two VIP cabins and two twin cabins, allowing flexibility for families or mixed charter groups.

The master suite features a king-size bed and a split-level arrangement leading down into the ensuite bathroom, which includes a bath and steam shower. Large hull windows bring natural light into the cabin while reinforcing the yacht’s sporty profile externally.

The remaining guest accommodation is positioned on the lower deck and includes two identical VIP suites along with two mirror-image twin cabins. Triple portholes along the hull sides improve light levels inside the cabins while also adding a distinctive exterior styling detail.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93) 2,400hp engines, motor yacht Deep Sea is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. With her 19,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,250 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
