Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.75m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 104 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the twentieth yacht built on the SL96 design. Launched in March 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Friday is a 29.1m (95.5ft) Sanlorenzo SL96, and the profile stays true to the yard’s classic flybridge line, with long horizontal glazing and a clean, balanced superstructure. The hull runs low and straight, with rectangular windows along the lower deck and a continuous dark band across the main deck that visually stretches the length.
This is the traditional SL96 layout, so both port and starboard side decks are retained. That gives full walkaround access from aft to bow, which keeps movement simple and avoids the compromises seen on later asymmetric versions.
The aft deck is arranged for dining, set under the flybridge overhang for shade, while steps lead down to a fixed swim platform at water level. The connection between cockpit and platform is direct, so the stern works as a clear transition point for swimming or launching water toys.
Up top, the flybridge carries the main outdoor setup. There is an upper helm, open seating, and space for dining, all arranged under a hardtop that provides partial cover while leaving the aft section open. The layout is straightforward, with no over-complication, and it supports use while underway as well as at anchor.
Forward, the bow is kept low and uncluttered, with sunpads set into the deck and space to sit or lie out away from the main social areas.
Interior Design
The interior follows Francesco Paszkowski’s approach, keeping the layout open through the main deck while still defining each area. The saloon sits aft with direct access to the cockpit, and the glazing along both sides brings in consistent light across the space.
Forward of the lounge, the dining area sits within the same line, so movement between the two feels natural without needing partitions. The raised pilothouse sits ahead of this, lifting the helm position and freeing up more usable volume across the main deck.
Accommodation
Friday offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M86) 12-cylinder 2,216hp engines, motor yacht Friday is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 26 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
