  • 42m² winter garden space
  • Dedicated owner’s private deck
  • Underwater viewing lounge
  • Glass-bottom pool skylight in beach club
  • 73m Sanlorenzo 74 Steel yacht

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.5m beam and a 3.25m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,950 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2022. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Designed by Zuccon International Project, the 73m (239.5ft) Sanlorenzo 74 Steel yacht Virtuosity keeps a strong horizontal emphasis in her profile, with layered decks and long glazing bands that run cleanly from bow to stern.

The bow has been refined with added flare, so it moves away from the near-vertical look of the first hull and introduces a softer, more traditional forward section. This change improves both presence and seakeeping, while keeping the yacht’s modern identity intact.

Aft, the design centres on a large, multi-level beach club that connects directly to the sea. Twin staircases frame the space, leading down to a wide swim platform, while a glass-bottomed pool above forms a skylight that brings natural light into the beach area below. The pool spans around 28m² (301ft²), so it becomes a structural feature as well as a visual one.

Below, the beach club doubles as a social and entertainment zone, functioning as a lounge during the day and shifting to a nightclub setting in the evening, with a fixed DJ booth.

Upper decks step back in clean tiers, creating wide terraces with open views, while glass balustrades keep sightlines clear. The sundeck includes a fully glazed gym with sliding panels, so the space can open to the air when required.

Interior Design

The interior of the Virtuosity superyacht, developed by Studio Paolo Ferrari with Sanlorenzo, centres on the integration of nature into the yacht’s structure. The main visual anchor is a living Ficus nitida tree planted on the main deck, which rises through an oval opening to the deck above. Skylights ensure consistent natural light, so the tree remains part of daily life on board.

The main interior spaces use soft, light-toned materials, with curved seating, pale wood finishes, and minimal visual barriers. A three-deck-high lobby forms the core of the yacht, linking levels vertically while allowing light to pass through. Within this space, a spiral staircase finished in dark lacquered aluminium creates contrast, while a wine cellar sits opposite as a fixed feature.

A winter garden of 42m² (452ft²) on the bridge deck extends the connection to nature, offering a sheltered space with planting and natural light. Throughout the yacht, large glass surfaces and open layouts ensure continuity between interior and exterior areas.

One of the most unusual features sits within the wellness zone. A partially submerged lounge of 35m² (377ft²), known as the Aquarium, places guests below the waterline with large viewing panels, so marine life becomes part of the interior experience.

Accommodation

The owner’s main accommodation onboard Virtuosity is positioned on a dedicated upper deck, forming a private apartment that includes a lounge, cinema area, and direct access to exterior spaces.

Outside this suite, a reflecting pool replaces a conventional swimming pool, designed to mirror light and sky rather than serve as a leisure basin. Forward, a sensory shower adds to the private wellness setup.

On the main deck, a second owner’s suite includes an opening window, while additional accommodation comprises two guest staterooms and a VIP cabin. This arrangement keeps guest cabins close to main social areas while preserving privacy for the primary owner.
