Delivered in 2009, Frivolous is a 111'3" motor yacht built by British shipyard Sunseeker. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Sunseeker, while Don Shead Yacht Design is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 24'3" beam and a 8'1" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 225 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the sixth yacht built on the 34 Metre Yacht design.
Accommodation
Frivolous offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16v 2000 M93) 2,434hp engines, motor yacht Frivolous is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 5,151 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,250 nautical miles at 16 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
