Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.2m beam and a 3.7m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 1,303 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Global’s 67.06m (220ft) profile shows her origins as an oil rig support vessel and her later transformation into one of the first “Sport Utility Vessels.” Built in steel and aluminium, she retains the sturdy lines and functional layout of a working ship, adapted for long-range exploration and onboard living. The dark hull and white superstructure create a clear, purposeful look that suits her expedition character. Her broad decks are arranged for both operations and recreation, with open spaces for aviation, equipment, or guest use. The helideck measures 15.24m by 10.36m (50ft by 34ft) and includes tie-down points, folding safety railings, and a fire suppression system for safe helicopter operations. This same area easily converts for events or gatherings at anchor. An 8m (26.2ft) freshwater pool adds a practical yet welcome touch for relaxation on extended voyages. With space for a helicopter, tenders, and expedition gear, Global’s exterior is built around efficiency, safety, and versatility, reflecting her dual identity as a capable explorer and adaptable support yacht.
Interior Design
Global's five decks house a mix of social and operational spaces, all arranged with clear purpose. The main deck includes a galley, crew mess, and utility areas alongside guest zones such as a cinema, games room, and theatre-library. The atmosphere is functional but well-furnished, prioritising comfort without unnecessary embellishment. A gym and spa provide facilities for fitness and recovery, while the sky lounge connects to an observation deck with forward views. Each area flows cleanly from one to the next, with practical finishes and generous proportions suited to both crew operations and guest living.
Accommodation
Global offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 4 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (D399 v16) 1,300hp engines, motor yacht Global is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 345,761 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 10,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
