Key Features

  • Sun deck with hot tub
  • Main deck owner’s suite
  • Starlit cockpit ceiling panel
  • Upper lounge with bar

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.86m beam and a 2.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 299 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2007. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in June 2009.

Exterior Design

Kos has a dark navy hull and contrasting white superstructure, finished with a teak cap rail for a classic look. The overall styling strikes a confident balance between timeless design and practical outdoor living. Across the decks, spaces are arranged to encourage both relaxation and entertaining, with thoughtful touches throughout.

At the aft of the main deck, a large sofa pairs with a dining table to create a sheltered spot for informal meals or lounging close to the water. Above, the bridge deck hosts another outdoor area fitted with a full dining setup, generous sunpads, and a TV. This space can be shaded by a combination of overhead and side awnings, making it adaptable across different weather conditions. Further up, the sun deck is tailored for relaxed outdoor living, with a hot tub surrounded by sunpads at its centre. Two adjustable tables can be raised to sofa height and linked together to form a broad sunbed for larger gatherings. This deck also includes a bar area complete with a sink, grill plate, ice maker, minibar, and twin umbrellas for shade.

A discreetly luxurious detail, the cockpit overhang features a starlit ceiling panel - a design flourish that quietly elevates the onboard atmosphere once the sun goes down.

A bar, grill, jacuzzi and sunpads make Kos's top deck perfect for hosting.

Interior Design

Inside, Kos features a warm and traditional aesthetic, with dark wood panelling creating a refined backdrop across the main living spaces. The main saloon brings together generous sofas and a large dining table, arranged for relaxed entertaining or more formal gatherings. A TV is positioned for easy viewing without dominating the space, keeping the mood comfortable and sociable.

The galley, located on the main deck, is equipped with a dedicated dining table for the crew and its own TV. Higher up, the bridge deck includes a more informal indoor lounge, with soft seating, a minibar, and another TV - a peaceful alternative for private downtime or quiet evenings. A service pantry with a dedicated lift streamlines food and drink service between decks.

Accommodation

Kos accommodates guests across five staterooms, including an large owner’s suite and four lower-deck guest cabins.

The owner’s stateroom is located forward on the main deck and arranged with privacy and comfort in mind. It includes a private study, a large bedroom with a double bed and sofa, a TV, and a full-beam en suite fitted with both a whirlpool tub and shower.

On the lower deck, two double guest staterooms sit forward, each with its own wardrobe, en suite bathroom, and TV. Aft of these, two twin cabins feature additional Pullman berths, allowing each to sleep up to three guests. These also come with wardrobes, en suite bathrooms, and TVs, making them flexible options for mixed charter groups or families.

Crew accommodation includes two twin cabins with bathrooms and wardrobes for stewardesses, the chef and a deckhand. The captain has a single en suite cabin with storage, and there's a separate cabin for the yacht manager, which includes its own bathroom, wardrobe, and alarm control panel. All crew spaces are air-conditioned, and the corridor between them includes a laundry area equipped with two washing machines and two dryers.

Kos is arranged to comfortably host 10-12 guests and accommodate a professional crew of up to six.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M91) 1,499hp engines, motor yacht Kos is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 44,587 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,300 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
