La Fenice is a 33m motor yacht for sale delivered by Richard Iron Works in 1962. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Laurent Giles, while Christian Liaigre is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • Long-range 3,360 nm cruising capability
  • Side deck crew service access
  • Flybridge bar, sunpad, and dining
  • Pullman berth in triple guest cabin

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 6.56m beam and a 3.26m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 140 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

La Fenice’s classic profile stands out with her explorer-style lines and timeless detailing. Her exterior decks offer ample space for outdoor living, with multiple areas dedicated to relaxation, dining, and entertainment.

The main deck aft features a comfortable seating area that connects directly to the salon, while the expansive swim platform provides easy access to the water for swimming or launching tenders and toys. Moving up, the bridge deck aft is designed as an alfresco dining area, ideal for gathering with guests over a meal while enjoying the open air.

The flybridge is a standout space, offering a generous sunpad, additional alfresco dining area, and a bar - a perfect setup for taking in the views or hosting a casual get-together. The forward section of the yacht includes U-shaped seating and a table, with wide walkways that make it easy to move around the deck. The bow area is also practical, housing the winches, bollards, and bosun’s closet, while leaving the option to create a small seating area if desired.

You’ll find space to entertain across all three decks of La Fenice.

Interior Design

The interior, shaped by Christian Liaigre’s design input, blends dark wood flooring, leather accents, and refined paneling to create a space that feels both timeless and inviting. The open-plan layout enhances the sense of space and connection between the different living areas, creating a natural flow throughout the yacht.

The main salon is bright and airy, featuring a formal dining area with a large table, perfect for shared meals or entertaining guests. The sky lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere, complete with a well-stocked bar, a large L-shaped sofa, and a TV that rises when needed. Glass doors lead directly to the alfresco dining area aft, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces.

La Fenice’s galley is well-equipped, with side access for crew and a layout that supports efficient service. The crew mess provides a dedicated space for the four professional crew members, while the bridge deck helm is arranged for functionality, with captain’s chairs, multi-function displays, and side doors for easy access to the exterior.

Accommodation

La Fenice accommodates up to nine guests across four en-suite staterooms. The configuration includes three doubles and one triple cabin, fitted with a double bed and a Pullman berth - a flexible setup ideal for families or younger guests. Each stateroom carries the same elegant aesthetic seen throughout the yacht, with dark woods, neutral tones, and refined details that create a peaceful and classic environment.

All cabins are thoughtfully arranged with ample storage, high-quality furnishings, and en-suites that include showers, vanities, and practical layouts. The result is a collection of guest spaces that feel both comfortable and well-appointed, designed for restful nights at sea.

Crew accommodation is arranged across three cabins on the lower deck, housing four crew members. The captain’s cabin includes a double bed, while the two twin cabins each have two single berths. The crew areas are functional and well-equipped, ensuring smooth service and discreet support for guests while maintaining the yacht’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Gardner (8L3B) 230hp engines running at 1130rpm, motor yacht La Fenice is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 13,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,360 nautical miles at 10 knots.

La Fenice’s swim platform makes tender access and water sports straightforward.
