Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. The yacht has an internal volume of 5,342 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Project Elusive has a remarkably low, flowing profile for a yacht expected to measure 122.5m (401.9ft) and around 5,500GT. The render suggests the designers have worked hard to disguise the sheer amount of structure required at this scale, using long sweeps of superstructure rather than stacking each deck as a separate horizontal slab.

The bow is relatively fine and slightly raked rather than near-vertical, with the upper decks pulled back noticeably from the stem. That creates a long forward run and keeps the visual weight concentrated amidships, while the dark hull and dark glazing merge into one another to make the yacht appear slimmer than a 16.8m (55.1ft) beam would suggest.

The most distinctive element is the way the superstructure lines rise and fall through several decks. Large curved bands sweep aft from the bow, then overlap with the decks above, so the profile reads almost as one continuous shape. It is a very different approach from the straighter, more architectural styling seen on many recent 100m-plus yachts.

There is also a lot of glass. Long dark window bands run through the forward and central sections of several decks, and the render suggests particularly large glazing around the upper living areas. At this size, that should give the principal guest rooms much broader outward views without requiring the superstructure itself to become visually heavier.

The stern is where Project Elusive becomes much more interesting. Several aft decks step down towards the water, creating a deep sequence of terraces rather than one enormous transom face. Two substantial side structures frame the lower stern and appear to contain stairs or circulation routes linking the upper terraces with the water-level spaces below. The lowest stern platform projects well beyond the hull and appears broad enough to function as a substantial bathing or boarding area. Above it, successive terraces become progressively more sheltered by the decks overhead. That should create several very different outdoor environments rather than one repeated aft lounge on every level.

Accommodation

Project Elusive is expected to accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 staterooms.

That is a considerable guest count, even at 122.5m (401.9ft), and means a meaningful part of the yacht's approximately 5,500GT volume will be devoted to private accommodation.
