The 49.71m motor yacht Red Sapphire was delivered to her owners in 2007 by Dutch shipyard Heesen. Heesen is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9.38m beam and a 4.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 604 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2005. Launched in January 2007 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2007.

Accommodation

Red Sapphire offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 595 TE90) 16-cylinder 5,789hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Red Sapphire is capable of reaching a top speed of 25 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. With her 97,390 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,200 nautical miles at 18 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories.
