Delivered by Dutch shipyard Amels, the yacht is part of the Amels 80 range and features exterior design by Espen Øino, naval architecture developed in-house by Damen Yachting and confidential interior. The 2,175GT superyacht continues the evolution of one of the shipyard's most in-demand semi-custom platforms.
A highly personalised interior shaped by the owner's vision
While details of the superyacht's interior remain confidential, Damen Yachting has revealed that the yacht was developed around a highly personalised owner's brief. Designed in collaboration with a confidential design studio, the contemporary interior pairs understated warmth with refined detailing, while a carefully curated collection of contemporary artworks by international artists has been integrated throughout the yacht to create a distinctive onboard atmosphere.
Outdoor living centred around the sea
Exterior guest areas have been designed to maximise the connection with the surrounding environment. A 6.5-metre glass-bottom swimming pool forms the centrepiece of the main aft deck, bringing additional light into the beach club below while creating a striking visual feature. Multiple lounge and dining areas are arranged across the exterior decks, offering a variety of settings for entertaining and relaxation. At water level, the beach club serves as a dedicated wellness retreat, extending the usable living space directly to the sea.
Accommodation designed for extended cruising
The motor yacht accommodates up to 14 guests across 7 cabins, supported by a crew of 20 plus the captain. The arrangement has been conceived to balance privacy with social interaction, allowing guests to enjoy both intimate retreats and larger gathering spaces throughout the yacht. Careful planning of circulation routes and communal areas ensures the platform remains practical for extended periods onboard while maintaining the level of luxury expected from an 80-metre superyacht.
Proven performance follows successful sea trials
Prior to delivery, Germaine completed an extensive programme of sea trials in the North Sea, validating her propulsion systems, onboard technologies and operational capabilities. Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines, the yacht is capable of reaching a top speed of approximately 16.5 knots. The successful completion of testing marked the final stage before owner handover, demonstrating the maturity and reliability of the Amels 80 platform.
