Due to be delivered in 2026, Amels 8003 is a 80m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Amels. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Espen Oeino, while Damen Yachting is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.3m beam and a 3.6m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 2,175 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built on the Amels 80 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was completed at Amels' Damen Shipyard Galati yard in Romania where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the Amels 8003 builds on a well-established design language that has defined previous models in the Limited Editions series. Her appearance balances modernity with recognisable Amels DNA, bringing together expansive open decks, clean geometries, and a near-vertical bow reminiscent of the Amels 60. However, here those strong lines evolve into something more fluid, with softer transitions from bow to stern and a streamlined silhouette that feels both precise and approachable.
Designed by Espen Øino, the exterior layout was approached with a clear intention: to keep the design elegant and functional without leaning into complexity. Every contour serves a purpose, driven by the belief that a well-resolved form should support practical use rather than challenge it. This philosophy underpins the yacht’s versatile exterior spaces, including generous lounging areas and a broad beach club that extends further with fold-down platforms for enhanced access to the water.
Accommodation
Amels 8003 offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 21 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
