Following the delivery of the first unit, Atraversia, the new VisionF E-Cat 80 is crafted from lightweight carbon fiber and retains the same low-resistance hulls and contemporary styling as its predecessor but introduces key enhancements across both design and energy systems.
Extended Solar Capacity and Jacuzzi Flybridge
Among the most notable updates on the catamaran is an extended roof section fitted with eight extra solar panels, increasing the system’s energy output to 24.8 kW per hour. In optimal conditions, this allows the yacht to cruise without relying on fossil fuels, supported by a large battery bank and twin 180 kW Danfoss electric motors.

A new jacuzzi has also been added to the expansive flybridge, elevating the leisure offering for private or charter guests. The upgraded layout features four distinct social zones on the fly deck, including an outdoor cinema, massage seating, and large sunpads.
Flexible Five-Cabin Layout with Charter Appeal
The new hull introduces a five-cabin configuration, including a dedicated children’s room that reflects VisionF's semi-custom approach to layout and guest experience. Designed for up to 12 guests, the yacht's interior volumes and 10.92-meter beam support a flexible setup for family cruising, entertaining, or charter use.

Crew accommodation includes space for four, a private captain’s cabin with ensuite, and a separate crew mess - all arranged for efficient service without infringing on guest areas.
Dedicated Tender Garage and Water Toy Capacity
The motor yacht's 15-square-meter tender garage is another standout feature. Fully equipped with a hydraulic stern hatch, electric winch, and secure lashing system, it provides practical storage for tenders and water toys. A tenderlift platform can support two jet skis or a second tender, turning the yacht into a versatile base for watersports and coastal exploration.

In optimal solar conditions, the E-Cat 80 is capable of unlimited zero-emissions cruising. For longer passages or higher-speed travel, twin 150 kW backup generators fed by a 5-ton fuel tank offer a range of over 1,000 nautical miles. The yacht maintains a cruising speed of 6 to 8 knots and benefits from strong maneuverability via bow and stern thrusters.
Expanding the VisionF Lineup
The launch of the second E-Cat 80 highlights VisionF's continued focus on clean propulsion and modular design. According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the world's largest yacht database in the world, the yard is also producing a range of aluminum models, including the VisionF 80, VisionF 82, VisionF 101, 120, and Superfast 46.

As electric catamarans gain traction among private and charter clients, the VisionF E-Cat 80 presents a compelling platform for those seeking extended cruising with minimal environmental impact.
