First 31m VisionF 101 Yacht Launched - Its Largest Aluminum Catamaran Yet

As the largest aluminium yacht ever built by the Turkish yard, the 30.7m catamaran Muzoon has officially been launched.

Completed at the yard’s Yalova facility, the VisionF 101 pushes the brand into new territory with a wider footprint and higher capacity. It is the first project of this scale by VisionF to achieve RINA Commercial Class compliance.

A New Direction for VisionF

The VisionF 101 introduces a more ambitious scale for the brand’s power catamaran line. The exterior of the catamaran draws attention immediately. Plumb bows, curved glass, and a low superstructure produce a sharp and contemporary outline on the water.

Although the yacht is built mainly in aluminium, VisionF fitted a glass-fiber-reinforced polyester roof to reduce weight and improve speed. The yard describes the concept as suited to Mediterranean cruising, with range and stability for days spent crossing between major hubs as well as short coastal passages.

Interior Layout Focused on Volume and Calm Detailing

Floor-to-ceiling glazing and soft lighting set a calm tone throughout the interior. Neutral shades of brown, white, and grey run across all decks, giving the living spaces a clean, understated feel. The main saloon spans 103 square meters and takes advantage of the motor yacht’s width, with side openings that strengthen the connection between interior and exterior areas.

The owner’s suite occupies 29.5 square meters in the starboard hull and is arranged with an 18 square meter stateroom, a 6.5 meter dressing room, and a five square meter ensuite. Three further ensuite guest cabins follow the same design language, maintaining privacy across the lower deck. A 13 square meter galley sits forward, and the crew area accommodates up to five people in three cabins.

Outdoor Spaces Built for Long Days at Anchor

The VisionF 101 places significant emphasis on deck real estate. The 132 square meter flybridge is the main feature, arranged for open-air living with space for a Jacuzzi, bar seating, sun loungers, and a wide social area beneath the hardtop. The 76 square meter foredeck adds another major zone, equipped with a cinema screen for evening entertainment.

These outdoor areas give the superyacht a feel closer to a large monohull platform while retaining the stability and efficiency advantages of a catamaran design.

The yacht’s performance comes from four Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines producing 4,000 hp. VisionF states that the model reaches 17 knots and holds steady in variable conditions due to the efficient displacement of the twin hulls. A draft of 1.45 meters opens up shallow bays, anchorages, and nearshore areas that are often inaccessible to yachts of similar length.

Production Momentum at VisionF

According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the largest yacht database in the world, VisionF currently has two active yachts in production. The first is the aluminium VisionF 82, a 24.5 meter model with a 9.9 meter beam, designed with broad living areas and a shallow 100 cm draft for access to tight anchorages. It accommodates up to seven guests across four cabins and is notable for a diesel and electric hybrid propulsion setup, which places it apart from earlier models in this size bracket.

The second project is the carbon fibre VisionF E-Cat 80. Measuring 24.3 meters, it houses up to nine guests and advances the yard’s electric program, drawing attention for its clean-running propulsion system. A recent build became a finalist in the 2025 World Yachts Trophies in the Best Electric Catamaran category, and the yard has already completed its second hull in the series.

The 30.7 meter VisionF 101 has been launched at the yard’s Yalova facility, becoming VisionF’s largest aluminium catamaran to date. Built to RINA Commercial Class Standards, the model introduces new scale, volume, and capability across the brand’s growing power catamaran line.
