The 14-meter vessel is currently in build and scheduled to launch in the coming weeks, ahead of its official world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place from September 9 to 14.
Built for maximum performance, the Superfast 46 is constructed using advanced composite techniques including vacuum infusion and multi-axial carbon fiber. The result is a lightweight hull engineered for strength, agility, and stability at high speeds. VisionF confirms the boat will be launched in the coming weeks, with public display set for September 9–14 in Cannes.
Twin Mercury Racing Engines and Carbon Fiber Hull Enable 80-Knot Speed
Powered by twin Mercury 450R Racing Sportmaster engines and Mercury’s Racing Revolution X propulsion system, the Superfast 46 combines raw speed with responsive control. Performance systems include Active Trim, a 6” electric hydraulic jackplate, precision hydraulic steering, and the option of Mercury Joystick Piloting (JPO) for easier docking. The boat’s range is estimated at around two hours at full speed, supported by 600-liter fuel tanks.

Onboard tech includes VesselView 903 performance monitoring, Garmin’s 19” 1623 XSV navigation display, a Silva 85E compass, and Perko pop-up navigation lights. For safety, the boat is equipped with three high-capacity bilge pumps and dual fire extinguishers, with anchor and rear camera systems available as options.
Design Details Focused on Function and Finish
The Superfast 46 features a beam of 3.7 meters and a shallow draft of 0.47 meters, contributing to its stability and responsive handling. Visual highlights include a carbon fiber spoiler, custom carbon dashboard, and high-gloss gelcoat finish. Seating is designed for ergonomic support, with high-quality marine upholstery and shock-absorbing construction.

Storage is built into the layout with dedicated spaces for fenders, a cooler, battery systems, and engine access. A Fusion Apollo marine sound system with four 6.5” speakers, a 10” subwoofer, and MS-RA770 head unit delivers entertainment suited to the boat’s high-energy use case.
Superfast 46 Expands VisionF's Growing High-Tech Lineup
The introduction of the Superfast 46 adds a new performance tier to VisionF Yachts’ growing lineup of luxury power catamarans, which now spans from 14 to over 30 meters in length. According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the largest yacht database in the world, the company currently has eight models in build, covering both electric and hybrid multihulls tailored for long-range cruising and shallow-water access.
Among VisionF’s most popular models is the VisionF E-Cat 80 - a carbon fiber multihull with a 10.92-meter beam and six-cabin layout, offering space for up to 14 guests. Designed by Too Design and naval architects MICAD, this model emphasizes lightweight construction and sustainability with fully electric propulsion. The VisionF 82 features a hybrid diesel-electric system and a shallow 1-meter draft for improved access to coastal areas. Measuring 24.5 meters in length, it offers broad interior volumes and a maximum range of up to 4,000 nautical miles.

Also in the mid-range, the VisionF 80 NGis a 23.8-meter aluminum catamaran with four cabins for up to eight guests. At the top end, the VisionF 101 spans 30.7 meters and offers five guest cabins, with a solid aluminum hull and maximum speed of 17 knots. Developed to deliver an environmentally conscious cruising experience, the model is equipped with the latest onboard systems and combines long-range efficiency with spacious interior and exterior living areas.

Together with the newly announced Superfast 46 and the flagship VisionF 155, these models reflect VisionF’s strategy to diversify its portfolio across propulsion types, hull materials, and use cases—from fast dayboats to extended-range multihulls.
