Rakishly cool and immensely powerful the Viking 58C is a serious sportsfisher designed for Owner or crewed operation, delivering a meaty all-weather 40knot top speed.
A deep Vee hull and twin shaftdrive diesel engines deliver very fast but also balanced power.

About
Accommodation
With no lower helm, a typical design feature on these big US sportsfishers, the deck salon has the look and feel of a smart, classically toned wheelhouse, only without a wheel. Warm cabinetry gives a nautical flavour inside with facing seating and the galley playing a central role, creating a family vibe. Deep windows line the salon so it can feel both incredibly light or warmly inviting depending on the mood.
The main Owner’s cabin lies amidships with a double berth, ensuite facilities and lots of cabinetry and stowage. Slightly unusually, the Viking has its Owner’s berth athwartships, across the beam.
The standard layout has a double guest cabin forward and a bunked cabin to starboard, both sharing a toilet and swhower compartment. A notable feature, the yacht is fully air-conditioned as standard.
On Deck
The flybridge is typical sportsfisher minimalism, there are seats, but these flybridges are far more about working than relaxing. A vertical ladder takes you up, where you are met by a chunky helm console with a choice of one or two helm seats. There’s a deep seat forward of the helm and wraparound benches following the outline of the flybridge.
Many of these yachts will be finished with a raised tuna tower above the fly, offering repeater helm controls and a great lookout.
The aft deck is the place for guests and fishing, with low bulwarks and an open deck that can be fitted with a fighting chair. Specialist stowage is found on and below decks, including rod holders, bate wells and seawater or cold stores for the catch.
For those not fishing, raised, aft-facing benches sit safely under the flybridge overhang.
Performance & Capabilities
This big powerful performer will hit 42knots, its deep Vee hull and shaftdrive propulsion carving through the sea. There are multiple horsepower options from US engine legend MAN or the excellent German MTU.
For longer passages the Viking’s 5686lt (1250gl) fuel capacity will deliver a range of around 595nm at 11knots. The four engine options are twin 1400hp MAN V12-1400, twin 1550hp MAN V12-1550, twin 1900hp MAN V12-1900 and twin 1600hp MTU 10V 2000 M96L.
Zero speed stabilisers are an option, keeping the yacht stable whatever the speed, a useful addition if you like to anchor or overnight away from port.
From The Manufacturer
Fast and efficient, the 58 tops out at 42 knots and cruises at 36 knots. The boat’s dry ride, maneuverability and nimble handling have received widespread praise.
The companionway extends from the starboard-side salon door all the way to the forepeak, creating an inviting open space with three gathering areas. The port-side lounge faces the HD TV that rises from beautifully crafted cabinetry.
The galley counters and raised bar are topped with engineered stone that artfully complement a teak or walnut interior. Facing the galley, the starboard-side dinette comfortably seats four and features a high-gloss wood table.
As you would expect from Viking, the master suite is especially elegant. The athwartships bed allows for maximum walkaround space and hisand-hers hanging lockers.
The ensuite master head has an upper vanity with a mirrored medicine cabinet, custom wallpaper, engineered stone countertops and a spacious walk-in shower with a molded seat.
The forward stateroom is offered with either a queen or crossover arrangement. Storage, comfort and conveniences are abundant with either.
First-class accommodations continue in the starboard guest stateroom, with side-by-side bunks, a maple-lined hanging locker with drawer storage and an optional HD TV. The guest head can be accessed via the forward stateroom or companionway.
