  • Raised pilothouse Broward design
  • Full-beam master suite
  • Naiad stabiliser system
  • Flybridge Jacuzzi and grill station

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.1m beam and a 2m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 169 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The 32.9m (108ft) Broward raised pilothouse yacht ABIGAIL carries the sharp-edged profile and streamlined stance very typical of Broward’s aluminium yachts during the late 1990s, though extensive upgrades and modernisation work have brought the yacht much closer to current expectations. Her long black glazing bands, angular superstructure and broad aft deck still give the yacht a distinctly American motoryacht character, while updated systems and refreshed exterior spaces keep the overall feel contemporary rather than dated.

Built in aluminium by Broward Marine in 1997, ABIGAIL has benefited from a refit and upgrade programme exceeding $2.5 million. The yacht remains under full-time crew care and presents in turnkey condition following ongoing maintenance and technical improvements.

The aft deck is arranged as a genuine entertaining zone rather than simply a transitional boarding area. Full teak decking runs throughout, joined by twin teak tables, generous transom seating and a fully equipped bar with refrigeration, icemaker and sink. Access between decks comes via a curved spiral staircase finished with teak treads, leading directly to the boat deck and flybridge.

Above, the flybridge has the scale normally associated with much larger yachts. A hardtop shades the helm and central lounge while open sections aft create dedicated sun and entertainment areas. The layout includes a full bar, grill station, oversized lounge seating, jacuzzi and space for tender or jet ski storage beside the Marquipt davit crane. Wide sightlines from the elevated helm reinforce the raised pilothouse design while keeping the social areas integrated into the same deck.

Her profile remains notably clean for a raised pilothouse yacht of this era. Broad dark glazing stretches nearly uninterrupted across the superstructure, visually lowering the yacht’s height and bringing more natural light into the interior. Side deck access remains practical thanks to exterior companionways leading forward from the saloon entrances toward the bow.

At water level, the teak-laid swim platform provides easy boarding and direct crew access into the lower accommodation and engine room areas. The platform also works naturally with the yacht’s social layout, extending the usable exterior footprint while at anchor.

Interior Design

ABIGAIL’s interior has classic late-1990s Broward styling with a more updated entertainment-led layout. High-gloss dark wood finishes, reflective surfaces and stone flooring give the yacht a distinctly American luxury yacht atmosphere, though modern AV systems and upgraded lighting help prevent the spaces from feeling dated.

The main saloon is arranged as a large open lounge built around guest entertainment. Long wraparound sofas line both port and starboard sides while a central stone walkway keeps movement through the room easy despite the generous seating arrangement. A 72-inch television and surround sound system dominate the forward bulkhead, while large side windows bring daylight deep into the interior.

A fully equipped bar sits directly aft within the saloon and links naturally with the aft deck entertaining space outside. Port and starboard side exits also improve circulation around the yacht and create easier movement between interior and exterior areas.

Forward, the raised pilothouse adopts a much more contemporary style than many yachts from the same period. An L-shaped observation lounge sits behind the helm beneath wide forward glazing and 180-degree sightlines. Recently upgraded Garmin navigation equipment, Furuno radar systems and modern digital monitoring screens give the bridge a clean, current appearance.

Accommodation

ABIGAIL accommodates guests across a four-cabin layout centred around a full-beam master suite positioned amidships on the lower deck. The cabin uses the yacht’s substantial beam effectively and includes a centreline king berth, abundant storage, twin hanging lockers and ensuite bathrooms arranged for his-and-hers use. A shared central shower fitted with body sprays and quad rain heads separates the two bathroom spaces.

A pop-up television rises from the foot of the master berth while large amounts of drawer and nightstand storage reinforce the yacht’s suitability for longer stays onboard.

Two mirrored guest cabins sit aft of the master and each feature athwartship queen berths, ensuite bathrooms, full-height hanging lockers and integrated entertainment systems. The arrangement gives both cabins near-identical proportions and privacy.

Forward in the bow, the VIP suite includes a centreline queen berth, walk-in wardrobe and large ensuite bathroom with stone finishes and substantial storage. Like the master cabin, the berth uses a pop-up television integrated into the furniture arrangement.

Crew accommodation is positioned aft with separate quarters for captain and crew. The captain’s cabin includes a double berth while an additional over-under bunk cabin sleeps two crew.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412) 1,250hp engines, motor yacht Abigail is capable of reaching a top speed of 21 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots.
