Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 22'2" beam and a 6'3" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 140 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the 780 Adventure design. Launched in May 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Outer Reef Yachts' Lynx Yachts yard in Netherlands where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2025.

Exterior Design

Designed and constructed in the Netherlands, the Adventure 780/01 is a steel-hulled explorer yacht measuring 23.95m (78.6ft), built with long-range cruising and off-grid capability firmly in mind. The hull features a fast-displacement form paired with a transom stern and twin-screw propulsion. Its exterior lines lean towards practical strength rather than flourish, framed by a steel superstructure and an aluminum alloy hardtop. Outer Reef’s Category A CE certification reinforces its suitability for unrestricted navigation.

On the main deck, a swim platform flows forward to the salon, then through to the galley and wheelhouse, while a mooring deck sits ahead. The upper deck is split between two distinct social zones: aft sunbathing space and a bar lounge forward, centred around an Omega-shaped built-in sofa. A full wet bar with fridge, icemaker, and bar stools supports easygoing time outdoors, whether underway or at anchor. Dual sintered stone dining tables and built-in sofas add functionality and comfort.

True teak decking is laid across the aft and upper deck, while the forward working deck is finished with non-slip paint. Stainless steel elements are found throughout: bollards, fairleads, railings, and bulwark gates are all built for hard use. A hydraulic stern platform door allows for clean and safe water access.

A notable feature up front is the OPAC MARE hydraulic crane, mounted on the foredeck and rated for 1,000kg at a 5.0m reach, capable of handling tenders or heavier expedition gear with ease. Glazing is well considered, combining 8mm to 12mm laminated and monolithic toughened glass throughout the hull, superstructure, and wheelhouse for natural light, safety, and structural resilience.

Interior Design

Step inside, and the Adventure 780/01 reveals a warm, practical interior that leans on reliable marine construction while introducing subtle residential touches. Bulkheads and cabinetry are crafted from marine-grade plywood and paired with MAFI timber parquet flooring and ceilings clad in FENIX laminate, trimmed with stainless steel accents.

Lighting design is layered and adaptable. LED spotlights and courtesy lights are standard, with the option to add ambient lighting packages to define different zones such as the salon, helm, and cabins. Owners can also choose between SEASMART concealed push-locks and designer hardware from Olivari or Foresti & Suardi. Electric sliding doors can be specified in the main salon for a cleaner flow between inside and out.

The salon itself offers a smartly balanced layout for both dining and lounging. Built-in portside seating wraps around a table that can be lowered from dining height to coffee table level. On the starboard side, an L-shaped sofa adds to the relaxed setup. Storage has been discreetly integrated throughout. Finishes such as HPL window surrounds and fabric-lined panels keep things low-maintenance but refined, with electric blinds available as an upgrade.

In the wheelhouse, the focus is on quiet control. A carbon-finished helm, Stidd seating, and a full-size chart table offer a capable command space. Simrad navigation and monitoring systems are fitted as standard.

The galley is arranged for practical long-term use. Surfaces are finished in HI-MACS, and Siemens appliances are standard throughout. A full-height fridge and freezer unit supports provisioning for longer legs, and there’s a well-organised mix of under-counter and overhead storage.
