More Details

Due to be delivered in 2027, Amels 6010 is a 196'10" motor yacht for sale built by Dutch shipyard Amels. She features exterior design by Espen Oeino and interior styling by Laura Sessa Romboli.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 34'1" beam and a 11' draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 853 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the tenth yacht built on the Amels 60 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Amels 6010 is a 60m (196.9ft) superyacht designed by Espen Øino, with a focus on clean geometry, long-range capability, and efficient use of space. Its silhouette is purposeful and low-slung, defined by a vertical bow, straight lines, and crisp structural elements that give the yacht a strong, modern character without feeling overdesigned.

Large, angular windows punctuate the hull and superstructure, adding rhythm to the exterior while drawing in natural light throughout the interior decks. These trapezoidal panes have become a visual signature of the design and offer broad sea views from inside without interrupting the yacht’s profile.

Deck spaces are practical and well-proportioned. The 29m (95.1ft) sun deck stretches nearly the entire length of the yacht’s top tier, providing room for a Jacuzzi, lounge seating, shaded dining, and a bar.

At the aft end, the beach club opens directly to the sea. It’s designed as a relaxed, water-level retreat with lounge seating, a steam shower, sauna, and direct access to the swim platform.

Interior Design

Studio Laura Sessa’s interior concept for the Amels 6010 places clarity and contrast at the centre of the design. The overall aesthetic is clean-lined and contemporary, marked by a confident layout and distinct architectural flow. Strong lines are softened with tactile textures and carefully tailored detailing, creating a balance of precision and warmth.

A restrained monochrome palette anchors the scheme, with black and white as its foundation. These tones provide visual rhythm and open up the design to creative expression across furniture, joinery, and built-in features. In the main saloon, this comes through in the pairing of low-profile custom seating with curved cabinetry and integrated ceiling lighting. Each space is subtly zoned to maintain flow across lounge, dining, and media areas, without interrupting the overall cohesion.

Throughout the yacht, contrast is used deliberately. Furniture is often outlined in black or red, helping to define each piece while keeping the space grounded. Warm neutral tones and layered materials soften the effect, bringing in a sense of comfort and tactility. In the guest cabins, this visual interplay is more expressive. Pop-colour accents, symmetrical compositions, and bold horizontal forms create a graphic, playful edge.

Materials are chosen with care. High-gloss finishes appear only in key spots to help bounce light through the space, while matte stone, brushed metals, and textured wood grains provide depth and subtle variation. The master bathroom is a particularly well-resolved example, with lacquered stone surfaces and crisp linear detailing that underline the yacht’s overall design clarity.

A sculptural staircase connects the decks and stands as a visual centrepiece. Its spiralling treads and gently curved handrails are finished in black, gold, and cream, offering a sense of continuity and movement throughout the interior. It’s a functional element that doubles as an artistic feature, tying the levels together with quiet authority.
