Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.4m beam and a 3.35m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 853 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the tenth yacht built on the Amels 60 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The tenth hull in the Amels 60 series carries Espen Øino’s sharp, geometric profile, built around long horizontal lines and a low visual stance despite the yacht’s substantial 1,000GT volume. The vertical bow, stretched deck lines and carefully balanced overhangs give the yacht a restrained, modern appearance that avoids unnecessary complexity.

One of the defining exterior elements is the series of large trapezoidal windows cut into both the hull and superstructure. These dark geometric sections break up the white exterior surfaces while drawing natural light deep into the interior spaces. The glazing also reinforces the yacht’s strong horizontal flow, particularly across the main and upper decks.

The 29m (95.1ft) sundeck runs almost the full length of the upper tier and provides multiple exterior zones, including a Jacuzzi, bar, shaded dining area and lounge seating. Forward, the yacht incorporates a helipad integrated cleanly into the foredeck arrangement, while the owner’s suite benefits from a folding balcony that extends directly over the water.

At the stern, the beach club opens onto the swim platform and functions as a dedicated wellness space with lounge seating, sauna and steam shower facilities. Wide side decks and open aft terraces strengthen the connection between interior and exterior living areas, while the yacht’s long-range cruising capability remains central to the design.

Interior Design

Studio Laura Sessa’s interior concept combines strong architectural lines with softer textures and carefully controlled contrast. Black and white tones form the base palette throughout the yacht, while blue, red and warm neutral accents add depth without overwhelming the spaces.

The main saloon uses broad glazing, low-profile seating and integrated lighting to create an open, bright atmosphere. Furniture pieces are outlined with dark detailing that gives definition to the layout, while curved cabinetry and textured wall finishes soften the overall geometry. Large rugs with graphic patterns introduce movement and help separate lounge and dining areas without interrupting the flow of the room.

Across the yacht, the design uses matte stone, brushed metals, textured wood grains and selective gloss finishes to build visual depth. Guest spaces take a more playful approach, with bolder colour accents and symmetrical layouts that contrast against the restrained architectural framework.

One of the interior focal points is the sculptural staircase, finished in black, cream and metallic detailing. Its curved handrails and spiralling form create a strong visual connection between decks while maintaining the clean-lined atmosphere that defines the wider interior scheme.

Accommodation

Amels 6010 offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across six suites, including a main deck owner’s suite and a VIP cabin. Crew accommodation supports up to 13 crew members.

The owner’s suite is positioned on the main deck and benefits from large windows and a folding private balcony that opens directly above the waterline. The arrangement gives the cabin stronger natural light and a closer connection to the sea than a conventional fixed bulwark design.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel-electric MTU (12V 2000 M72) engines, motor yacht Amels 6010 is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 122,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
