Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.7m beam and a 2.15m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 415 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2023. This was the seventh yacht built on the DOM133 design. Launched in June 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2025.

Exterior Design

Andala is a 40.9m (134.2ft) Baglietto DOM133 motor yacht, and her exterior by Stefano Vafiadis draws on automotive cues with sharp lines and a low, flowing profile. The aluminium hull and superstructure keep weight down, while the displacement platform supports long-range cruising, and a shallow draught of 2.1m (6.9ft) allows access to areas such as the Bahamas and Caribbean.

The profile stays clean and horizontal, with dark glazing bands cutting through the white structure, so the yacht reads long and settled on the water. Outdoor spaces step down toward the stern, where the layout opens into a two-level beach club. The main deck aft flows directly down to the swim platform, and this creates a gradual link to the sea rather than a hard break between levels.

At the water’s edge, an infinity pool sits within the lower platform, and its adjustable floor allows the space to shift between a pool, a flush deck, or a shallow lounging area. Built-in seating wraps around the aft edge, so the area works as a social zone close to the water.

Above, the sundeck adds a second pool along with open seating and dining areas, while a bar and barbecue setup support longer stays outdoors. The space can seat up to 16 guests for dining, and the layout keeps sightlines open across the deck. Forward, the foredeck offers another lounge zone with sunpads and seating, giving a quieter alternative to the aft areas.

With two pools on board, Andala is geared for relaxed cruising.

Interior Design

Inside, Andala follows a contemporary approach shaped by Giorgio Cassetta, with a clear focus on geometry and material detail. The design leans on clean lines and structured panel work, and this gives the spaces a sense of order while still allowing variation through texture.

The main saloon connects directly to the aft cockpit through full-height sliding glass doors, so the boundary between inside and outside stays minimal. Mirrors are used across the space to extend sightlines and reflect light, and this increases the sense of volume without adding complexity.

Custom leather weaves appear in key areas, while stone elements such as basins carved from single blocks of Lasa marble add weight and contrast. Each element feels deliberate, and the detailing runs consistently across the yacht.

On the upper deck, the sky lounge shifts toward a more relaxed setting, with large sofas arranged around a cinema setup. Concealed storage and cabinetry keep the space clean, while side terraces bring in light and provide direct views out. Aft of this, an exterior dining area continues the same flow between interior and deck.

Accommodation

Andala accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, with a layout that separates the owner from guest areas while keeping access straightforward.

The owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck, and it includes a fold-down balcony that extends around 2m (6.6ft) outboard, so it creates a private connection to the sea. The room also includes an office space that can be closed off when needed.

Guest accommodation is arranged on the lower deck, with two double cabins aft, one twin cabin, and a VIP cabin forward. This layout suits a mix of guests, and it keeps circulation simple between cabins and shared areas.

Crew accommodation supports up to nine, so service runs separately from guest spaces.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 1,622hp engines, motor yacht Andala is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. She has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
