  • Naiad zero-speed stabilisers
  • 42m Devonport motor yacht
  • Shaded al fresco dining

Design & Construction

Designed around a modified v-hull GRP hull and a frp composite superstructure she features a 8.16m beam and a 2.96m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 247 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The 42m (137.8ft) Aquarella combines a low, sporty profile with the proportions of a much larger yacht. Designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design and built by Devonport, her exterior is defined by a sharp bow, a dark hull, and a contrasting white superstructure that creates a striking presence on the water.

Long bands of dark glazing run through the superstructure, visually stretching the yacht's profile while bringing natural light deep into the interior. The raised pilothouse configuration creates clean, uninterrupted lines, while the broad beam and low-slung stance avoid the bulk often associated with yachts of this volume.

Outdoor spaces are arranged for dining, relaxation and entertaining. Shaded al fresco dining areas on both the foredeck and sundeck provide options throughout the day, while the aft deck connects directly to the water through a generous swim platform. Aquarella also carries a full selection of water toys, reflecting her successful charter history.

Interior Design

Aquarella's interior was refreshed during refits in 2009 and 2018 and combines rich wood finishes, monochrome furnishings and white marble details. Large windows line the main saloon, creating a bright and open atmosphere while providing wide views of the surroundings.

The main saloon follows an open-plan arrangement with generous lounge seating to port and starboard. Two 42-inch plasma televisions and a surround sound system provide entertainment, while the layout allows guests to move easily between the lounge and dining areas.

Throughout the interior, the design balances contemporary finishes with classic yacht detailing. Natural light plays a significant role, supported by the expansive glazing that defines the yacht's exterior profile.

Accommodation

Aquarella accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite, one double cabin and two twin cabins. All guest cabins include en suite bathroom facilities, television screens and dedicated entertainment systems.

The accommodation layout provides flexibility for families, charter groups and mixed guest parties. The master suite offers the most generous private space on board, while the VIP suite and remaining guest cabins maintain a consistent standard of comfort and finish.

Separate crew quarters accommodate up to six crew members, allowing professional service levels while preserving guest privacy throughout the yacht.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V396TE94s) 12-cylinder 2,253hp engines, motor yacht Aquarella is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 19 knots. With her 22,710 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Aquarella also features an inviting spread of sunpads.
